The Y&B Club do not rent water mice, but they do have small canopy boats for about $25/half hour. These boats are similar to the water mice, but a little larger with a canopy. They are also a bit slower, but perfect for Crescent Lake.

If you want to rent a water mouse, rent it from either FW or Poly because then you have the very large 7 Seas Lagoon to use. It is great!

Can three people get in the canopy boat? My DH wants to take my two boys out on one, they are only 4&5. I was told with the water mice only two can go no matter the size.

When did they stop renting water mice at YC/BC? We rented them last July and were planning to do so again this August. I am so bummed!

I am not %100 on this, but it seems to me that you can put 3 people on the canopy boats.

As for when they stopped, I don't know. We went to rent the water mice in September, and the cast member said that they don't rent them, so we got a canopy boat instead. It was still allot of fun though!

We have rented water mice at yc! And did so last year. This is big. they are also listed in several guide books I have. However, when we talked to the cm and said they don't seem as zippy, they said there boats are turned down and not as fast as the big lake boats at the magic kingdom resorts. I highly recommend going out to poly, cr, or gf for this difference! We have rented mice, canopy, and the large pontoon boats (even the smaller speed boat 3 years ago at cr, no longer available). They are all fun and different in there own ways! Also easy as driving a car. There is a lot of lifeguards to help you with the boats, and it is a blast. Also have rented from po-rs the canopy boats in the canals and to dtd is a lot of fun and very scenic.:smooth:

I hope I haven't messed up anyone's plans because I just spoke with my friend who works at the BW, and she says that water mice ARE available @ YC. I'm not crazy, I know they didn't have them in September! Maybe they were being rehabed?? Then again, maybe I am crazy!:bounce:
