Gail- Oh NO on the speeding ticket...We still tease Mike around here because he got pulled over about a month or so ago because the tints in his car were too dark....but no warning...A ticket right off...Now my mother in law (love her tons) but got pulled over like 3 times because she has mirror tint (also illegal) but never once got a ticket...she finally just recently got them changed.....but she had the tint on there since buying the car like 11 years :rolleyes1 of course these are by the same cops that keep running the stop sign out in front of MIL'S house:sad2:

yea in the hottest state in the world (not really) but the "SUNSHINE STATE" the can only be so dark and they CANNOT be mirrored or be too dark to see in. Mike got his 1 shade darker than the legal limit (yes he knew, but his car is DARK GREY and it gets REALLY hot in there) its hard to drive when the sun is in your eyes...so anyhoo he had to get them removed and get the darkest legal tints that you can have (not very dark)...

They did make it to 14 b4 they sailed, and boy were they happy to hit 14. I know some of the stuff, probably not all of it. 2 ppl had family deaths. 1 person broke their leg, they also posted that on the main boards(TG for trip insurance) and nobody let their hubbies go wakeboarding b4 the cruise.

They did make it to 14 b4 they sailed, and boy were they happy to hit 14. I know some of the stuff, probably not all of it. 2 ppl had family deaths. 1 person broke their leg, they also posted that on the main boards(TG for trip insurance) and nobody let their hubbies go wakeboarding b4 the cruise.

To send a box to the ship for your cruise- I read somewhere that it could be no bigger than 12x12 box... is this true? Doesn't seem big enough.
Also
does it need to have the contents listed on the outside?
And lastly,
could you send dry medications (i.e. Tylenol, Motrin, etc. pill forms)?

Thanks for the pixie dust for a better day! Connor is going to be in bed early tonight! we also have an appt with the dr at 3, so we will get his meds adjusted. THAT will make a huge difference!

We have laws here too about window tinting...can't be anymore then a certain percentage. I just leave the factory tint and not fool with it.

We had a grandfather that wanted to take his grandkids to Dairy Queen. So, he loaded the kids into his boat, hooked the boat trailer to his riding mower and off they went! Needless to say, he was pulled over and his wife had to come with the van to take the kids home! :rotfl:

Lyndee, I don't see why you couldn't ship meds to the ship in your box. :confused3 Yes, it's "drugs" but not the kind the dogs are looking for. At least, that's my theory! If you can find Shirley's informative post on the main cruise boards, I think there is a number for where the boxes go and are sorted. You could call and just verify that it would be okay.

I have a question (if anyone is out there) :
To send a box to the ship for your cruise- I read somewhere that it could be no bigger than 12x12 box... is this true? Doesn't seem big enough.
Also
does it need to have the contents listed on the outside?
And lastly,
could you send dry medications (i.e. Tylenol, Motrin, etc. pill forms)?
I'll look later to see if anyone has responded....
I just need to get these things together and send on Friday.

My box last time was a bit bigger and it was ok. Just list all items and tape an envelope to the outside of the box lableled "Packing Slip" you can send medications, etc. !!!!!!!!

Just stopping in for a quick post. I have 10 minutes before I have to get the other 2 boys from school. Didn't have time to catch up on the other pages. Not much time these days.

Thank you for all the anniversary wishes. I know everyone wants to get thru this chapter. Well, this year happens to be our 13th anniversay. Lets see what the year brings.

I'm still printing up autograph pages. I'm thinking it would have been easier to buy them, but I know this is more special. I hope my boys appreciate it. I hope I included all the characters that are going to be signing. I'm gonna print up some extra blank ones just in case.

Soccer practices start up next week. I only know 1 is practicing on Monday nights, don't know about the others yet. Michael will have practice 2 times a week. Plus, Ray and I bowl on a league on Wednesday nights. And there's boy scouts for 2 of the boys. Life is never dull around here.

Speaking of airfare, Steve was looking at Allegiant last night. If we were able to fly out on Tuesday, our flight would be $29, if we flew home Tuesday, our flight would be $59. Unfortunatly, the boys can't miss 3 MORE days! That would be 9 all together! LOL I think we'd go to jail for sure! LOL

Hey everyone...Im back...Oww my back hurts from sitting on the floor and bending over while packing and lifting the boxes...Ive gotten a whopping 4 boxes packed (doesnt sound like a lot) but I think its pretty good since I had really only planned to pack up one large box :lmao: I set my limits low so that when I accomplish more, than I am not dissapointed :rolleyes1 I got 1 large box and 3 little ones packed...most of the bathroom stuff (shampoos and such) the closet that they were all in was a mess....it was always way too tiny in the first place and was NOT a proper place to store all of this stuff...so things often got lost and so we would have to buy more...and now that I go to clean it out...I realize that we have like 4 or 5 of the same thing in there :rotfl: But hey we wont have to buy shampoo or body wash or anything like that for awhile :laughing:

I also was able to pack up most of our glasses and dishes:thumbsup2 But My back hurts and I am tired of packing so I am resting for awhile....the good thing is that I also got our bathroom bags packed for the cruise :goodvibes :goodvibes So good did come of the cleaning out the bathroom closet storage place. :rolleyes: Mike is on his way home from work now and we will be heading to DMIL'S for dinner (Turkey and mashed potatoes and gravy). But of course I will be talking to you all from there :hug:

Hello everyone! I just quickly reviewed what I have missed today.

Shuana and Julie......such cute pictures. I love to look through Mom's old photos that she has of all of us. I've told everyone in the family that when Mom and Dad pass away, they can fight over property, cars, etc., but I get the pictures and Mom's and Dad's wedding bands.

As for the pictures of the Magic.......I would be very upset over the pools. But, everyone should know that the pools do close from time to time. When we were there a child did number 2 in the Mickey Pool around noon on an at sea day and they had to close it for the rest of the day to drain and clean it. It was opened the next moring. As for the scratches and things on the furniture in the rooms, that doesn't bother me. They can't possibly replace every piece of furniture every time it gets a scratch. I was surprised to hear about the saggy bed. My bed on the Magic was so wonderful, or maybe I was just on Cloud 9 just for getting to be there and it made it seem heavenly. All I know is that a few little scratches won't ruin my cruise.

I picked Merkie up at school, dropped by the church to leave some paper work that I did for our Angel Food Ministry (Saturday is distribution day) and then we went to Applebee's for dinner because I have no plans of cooking tonight. I woke up with a headache and have had it all day. I think too little sleep and too much computer screen.:surfweb: I use the computer a lot at work to. I am thinking about having my eyes checked before we leave on the cruise. I'm just a big whinny butt tonight!!!!!!

Yea Im not a big fan of cooking (as you can see) but when we move...I will be forced to cook more :scared1: But I will try to get away with simple foods most of the time :laughing: You poor thing with the headache...I hate those that last all day...they really are annoying! I wear glasses and havent had my eyes checked again since Chris was born (3 years ago!) so I think I am due for a checkup as well :rolleyes1 Your not being whinny to me...yap away, I dont mind!

I know what you mean about being excited about the cruise. I am more excited about this one than I was about the last one. I know what you mean about being excited about the cruise. I am more excited about this one than I was about the last one. I think it's because the last one was my first one and I wasn't sure what it would be like or if I would even enjoy it. Now, I know what's in store and just can't wait to get there.

Yea the same with me about the cruise...our last cruise was our first one and it was only a 4 day so I am more excited about having a longer cruise and meeting you guys...Ive never met anyone on the cruise before and so that is going to be fun. The last one was supposed to be a surprise to me but THANKFULLY Mike told me before hand (and we didnt have much time to get things prepared...only like a month) and so I was rushing to get magnets and such done and didnt think about a meet or anything...but this one is more relaxing and fun :thumbsup2
