This is a huge room that was probably once a garage then converted to a bedroom and then they used it as storage (as you can tell) we will redue it to be the guest room/craft room...this is also where one of the half bathrooms is located (well it has a toilet and a shower)

Thank you...I would have normally worried as well...not to say that I am not a little bit. But the guy that owns the place is the one who told us to buy the storage shed (weatherproof) to place outside in the back yard to place his things in. Now there is a few things of his that he has asked us to keep in the house (away from the elements) and we will do that :thumbsup2 He lives in Chili and said that he couldnt bring all of that stuff back with him...and I think that he is hoping that we buy the place and take over everything from there...:confused3 But that is definantly more room than we are used to having :rolleyes1 But it feels like home (even with nothing of ours in it) those couches and chairs are sooooo comfy!! We are keeping those in the house :rolleyes1

That was me that posted the ro-tel chicken... Not sure about that in the crock pot... you could do the chicken and rest of stuff in crock pot.... but the spaghetti would have to be boiled and added at the last... that's what I would do... then kind of stir it all together in the crock pot. Add cheese at table!

Crock Pot Pork Roast...
salt and pepper a 3-4 lb. pork roast...
slice a few slices of onion in bottom of pot
add roast

Yeah! Found all the stored away dresses for the girls yesterday and sat them aside, they should all be set for formal, semi-formal and casual dress wear.

Finalized the gift baskets (sand buckets) with Shirley yesterday. She is packing DH's beer/pretzels/dip in a Mickey tote bag! She's so nice. Surprised when she gave me her cell phone number in case we have any questions/emergency on a trip to the Port. How nice and a great service she gives to her customers!

Printed up the cruise docs today. Waiting for DD4 to finish lunch so we can take the stateroom box to the shipping store, then head to the t-shirt shop to hand over the t-shirt designs -- priced $16 a shirt for a front and back designs! Can't do better than that at home.

Then it's off to DD12's soccer practice later this afternoon if it's not rained out! She's missing two games while on the cruise, but will make the last game of the season on Oct. 25, which is also the same day indoor soccer starts...

Glad DD4 has been sick with the croup so I can use some medical leave to run errands! She had just a 20-minute barking spell last night and slept until 10 am this morning, so she's good to go! :laughing: :laughing: :laughing:

CRUISE QUESTION:
We are carrying on a soft-sided cooler with drug labels plastered all over it for DD6's heart meds that must be kept cool (plus a few sodas/juice/water/champagne bottle). Does the cooler count as "the one" carry-on for one us? Right now, we each have backpacks and then the cooler.

Yeah! Found all the stored away dresses for the girls yesterday and sat them aside, they should all be set for formal, semi-formal and casual dress wear.

Finalized the gift baskets (sand buckets) with Shirley yesterday. She is packing DH's beer/pretzels/dip in a Mickey tote bag! She's so nice. Surprised when she gave me her cell phone number in case we have any questions/emergency on a trip to the Port. How nice and a great service she gives to her customers!

Printed up the cruise docs today. Waiting for DD4 to finish lunch so we can take the stateroom box to the shipping store, then head to the t-shirt shop to hand over the t-shirt designs -- priced $16 a shirt for a front and back designs! Can't do better than that at home.

Then it's off to DD12's soccer practice later this afternoon if it's not rained out! She's missing two games while on the cruise, but will make the last game of the season on Oct. 25, which is also the same day indoor soccer starts...

Glad DD4 has been sick with the croup so I can use some medical leave to run errands! She had just a 20-minute barking spell last night and slept until 10 am this morning, so she's good to go! :laughing: :laughing: :laughing:

CRUISE QUESTION:
We are carrying on a soft-sided cooler with drug labels plastered all over it for DD6's heart meds that must be kept cool (plus a few sodas/juice/water/champagne bottle). Does the cooler count as "the one" carry-on for one us? Right now, we each have backpacks and then the cooler.

DD4 is feeling much better today. No fever and that awful croup bark is almost gone. She was up all night Sunday with the bark and breathing difficulties. At the doc office Monday morning she had a mist treatment and a liquid steroid to open up the airway. I thought we were headed back for the same late yesterday afternoon when the fever, wheezing and barking came back during a late afternoon nap, but thankfully, after a dose of miracle Motrin, she felt fine the rest of the evening. She woke up just at 1:15 am barking slightly but breathing OK and fell back asleep until late this morning.

AAAAH! I dropped off the cruise box at the UPS store as the first errand of the afternoon, then by the time I had left the t-shirt shop and headed to the library, it hit me that I failed to put the cruise date on the label! Some poor soul in 8074 would have had a big box surprise! So I high-tailed it back to the UPS store for a new label with the cruise date on it.

T-shirt guy said "Oh, you are making me do Mickey..." when I handed him the CD with the images and the printout of what they look like. He said that Disney images are all the talk these days with screen printers and some shops refuse to print non-authorized versions. I promised him that I wouldn't sell the family shirts and that I wouldn't tell anyone where I had them printed!

He's a nice local guy who printed up t-shirts for DD12's soccer coaches that said "You don't scare me...I coach girls' soccer!" :scared1: :scared1:

HI Amber!!!!!!!!!! do you have a picture of the chain????? I would love to see what it looks like! I was going to do that as well, then I just decided to do a dry erase board and use that as a countdown!! not as fun as what you have I know!!! LOL

I have no clue how to post a picture. In fact, I havn't even taken a pic of the chain yet, I guess I should. It's just construction paper rings taped together to make a long paper chain. The girls are loving watching it get shorter and shorter.

Good afternoon all-

Time is so close and it just seems like I'm busier now. The kids have soccer in full swing now along with boy scouts. There's only one day out of the week we don't have something going on. That's on Tuesdays (except for the 2nd one every month for PTA).
I have my magnets all printed, along with check in info. Still have to finish up the shirts. Hopefully that won't be too bad. I'm going to start laying out everyone's clothes tonight. Michael's birthday is 10/8 so I still have to make little treat bags for his class.

ReneeDo you mean for airline or ship??? I would think the airline would accommodate you. I don't think Disney cares how many carry ons you have... either way, you might call and ask....

Hello everyone! We just got home. Took Merkie to Applebee's for dinner (her favorite right now) to celebrate her test scores. The school gave out the scores from last years end of the year standardize testing. She did really well, so she got to pick where we ate tonight.:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

I saw that the run was Anniversary pictures for Randy and Candy, but I thought that they celebrated their anniversary a month or so ago and that Randy now had to buy Candy diamond earrings on one of the islands. Do I have them mixed up with someone else?

On our last cruise, I carried on a rolling case and garment bag with no problem. Merkie also had a rolling case. I think as long as you realize that you carry with you what every you carry on all day until you are allowed into your statement, that don't really care.
