Disney Express Service

Just finished talking to a lovely lady on the phone. Booked the Disney Express Service.

It was £15 per person, children are free. So it was £30 for all of us what I think isn't that bad. I think we paid £28 or similar when we went last time so not a lot more.

Just wanted to share in case someone is interested in booking the service:)

That's not a bad price, although it seems quite expensive if you've got a large group of adults...

Back on topic, I think £15 per person is worth it, especially if you want to make a head start on the parks or if you just don't fancy lugging your luggage to the hotel. I'd certainly pay for it everytime

If you have young children, buggies and a lot of luggage, it would be worth it IMO.

If you don't though, you'd be much cheaper (and not really less convenient) either taking your case with you to the parks (theres a left luggage there) or leaving the cases in left luggage at the train station.

Anyhow, back on topic :mad: Ema, sorry about the hijack of your thread. :hug: I'm impressed that children were free because they usually have their own bags/cases, hence you'd expect to have to pay. :thumbsup2

At least up the escalators / lift - yes, I'm fairly sure you do. The drop off point is on the top floor of the station.

Every onsite hotel (and the associated ones too) have a left luggage area that you can use for free if your room is not yet ready when you check in.

As DLPDaft says - when you arrive, you will be able to check-in to your hotel as soon as you arrive and collect your tickets. You can then leave your luggage in left luggage at the hotel until you return.

The main difference with the express service is:

1) no need to carry your cases to the hotel
2) no need to check in to collect you park tickets

OT but still... We're going to Cafe Mickey for lunch on our last day (always do that) and hope to go to Auberge. We'll see about the rest:)

Yes, you need to take the bags to the Disney Ecpress desk on the first floor at the train station. Remember once we got our tickets etc (ie pack) on the train and another time at the Express desk. Still it's a lot easier and we go to the park straight away :cheer2:

Hmmmm, now if I were running this service, I would have bell boys doing meet and greets as you get off the train to collect your luggage, while a live band entertains.

That would be so wonderful, I'd start going by Eurostar again if that happened!!

I know I should just be happy that we are going on an amazing European holiday to London and a week at DLRP (and another couple of destinations in Switzerland and Austria) :cool1: and going by Eurostar in Leisure class :cool1: , but it really does irk me :mad: that although we have booked our DLRP trip through Disney and booked the Eurostar direct from St Pancras to Disneyland and we are not allowed to use the Disney Express service! :confused3

I know it's not that big of a deal and we can just take our bags to the hotel ourselves, but I just don't get it, I don't know why Disney Express is not available to anyone travelling on Eurostar, if they want to pay for it. But as we do not live in the UK, we can not use this service (according to the two telephone calls I have made to try to add it to our booking). :confused3

OK, there is my rant for the week, thanks for letting me get that off my chest. :goodvibes

Does anyone know if it can be booked at the station at St Pancras or if we can go direct to the counter at Marne la vallee and just check in without prebooking?
