Maybe silly, but this is our new tradition

I have the Magic whistle downloaded right to my desktop, where DS and I can hear it whenever we want. We decided yesterday that every Saturday, at the time when the Magic leaves Port Canaveral for another wonderful cruise, we're going to turn the speakers up way loud and blow our whistle, too. Then we put on the steelpan music and celebrate how many Saturdays we have left until we get to hear the whistle in person again. "39 Saturdays" just makes me feel better than "278 days." :)

What a great idea. I just checked out my calender and we have 26 saturday's to go until we leave on our trip. That sounds as if our trip is right around the corner ...horray ! Thanks for the tip!

Gina....what a wonderful tradition!!!!! Not silly at all!!! I am sure your son will always remember those special Saturday times when he is all grown up while waiting with his family for their Disney Cruise!!!!

And at that time(or about 20-40 minutes later) you should check on twopalms.com and watch her sail away. I like doing that on Thursdays if I happen to think of it. :D

This still sounds to long for me, but I guess 52 Saturdays sounds better than 367 days:(
I wish we were going this year like we had originally planned, but I guess next year is better than nothing right:rolleyes:
