Standard view 1 bed suggestions?!

For the first time this trip we are staying in a standard view1 bed rather than a preferred view. Please can you recommend a room number/location that would give me a nice view rather than one that overlooks the entrance! Which floor would you recommend, we would need non-smoking. Do any of the rooms look out over MGM?

Ask for non-smoking, upper floor, and near the tennis courts. There are some rooms in this area that can see the upper level fireworks from both Illuminations and Fantasmic. Keep in mind, though, that these standard view rooms are among the furthest from the elevators. Those close to the elevators overlook the entrance. Good luck!

You can also ask for an "IllumiNations" view which is a high floor. You can see the fireworks from your balcony.

I agree with the room near the tennis courts. These rooms have wonderful views of the waterway that goes to MGM, the friendshop boats, TOT, Illuminations and Fantasmic fireworks. You also see ducks, birds, rabbits, etc. If you use the side stairwells you can avoid the long walk from the elevators.
