VWL 2 BR Villas - confirm the 2nd bedroom layout?

We're staying w/my MIL in Jan at VWL in a 2 BR villa - if I understand it right, some of the 2 BRs are dedicated 2 BRS (so 2 Queens in the 2nd BR) and some are 1 BR + Studios lockoffs, so 1 Queen & 1 sofabed in the 2nd BR?

If that's all correct, should I tell my MIL that she should request a dedicated 2 BR? (she thinks they're all 1 BR + studio) or does everyone request the dedicateds so it doesn't really matter, it's just luck of the draw and what's available? We'll live either way, but I know my kids will sleep better if they're in a "big bed" rather than a pull out (doesn't matter how comfy - it's all psychological....)

there are dedicated and they must be asked for when the reservation is made.

MS will usually assign a dedicated 2BR (unless they are already all reserved). If that's the villa type you'd rather have she should make that request at the time the reservation is made. Some prefer the lock-off - and that request should also be made when reserving.

Here is the breakdown of villas at VWL.

VWL - 20 Dedicated Studios - 27 Dedicated 1Bdrm - 44 Dedicated 2Bdrm - 45 Lockoffs - 0 Grand Villas = 136 Units / 181 Max. Available Rooms

If it is a dedicated 2 bedroom it would say that on the reservation. It's the BWV that has all lock off 2 bedrooms. You could ask her what it says, and hopefully, you'll/she'll be surprised if it says "dedicated." If not, I would ask her to call to be sure that what she thinks is correct, and maybe she would waitlist for the dedicated. They are very nice.
