Disney Cruise Photos

I know Disney takes a great deal of photos, while aboard the ship. I'm trying to determine which ones are the favorites of past cruisers. Which ones did you all prefer? What are your thoughts about Castaway Cay?

We loved alot of the pics that were taken. Our favorites are the ones taken on Castaway Cay. We got them taken of us in the water on the tubes and it is now becoming our Christmas Picture! Also the pics of us around the pools and ship (informal, spontaneous ones) were great. We also loved the ones taken on formal nite with Mickey and Minnie - you can't get beat that. The "regular" pics of the characters with you are good - but they also let you use your camera too. All in all, we purchased the 10 photo package and had a great amount of difficulty limiting the decision to 10.

Sorry---either I can't recall the photo pkg. prices or they weren't available when I last cruised. Can you provide the details?

After 21 cruises, we don't generally buy photos anymore. But we have in the past, and our favorites are:
1) The photos taken on Castaway Cay with the ship in the background. Both hubby and I have this photo on our desks at work to remind us what we work for.
2) The embarkation photo...a nice reminder of the date of your cruise.
It's also nice to take a photo with the captain, but we don't buy those as we bring our digital camera and get a captain photo at the Castaway Club party.

The family picture taken on Tropical Night! (in front of a tropical Island scene)...we were decked out in our tropical gear and blended right in with the background!!!!
(we didn't make it to Castaway Cay...but if we did go there, I probably would have spent lots of $$$$ on those pics!)

i wish we had bought the mickey/minie formal nights pics..they came out very well. they take pictures everywhere.
