Hi! Cousin and her family are looking at renting (not a hotel or condo) but beach house. Any ideas for her? She is looking over my shoulder at this.

They want to see SW and drive up to L.A. for 3 days. Thanks.

Best bets are vrbo.com and vacationrentals.com. I've used both for the summer.

I rented through VRBO.com in June. Carlsbad is a good choice if you want to do San Diego and LA stuff since it is more in the middle. Places on the beach are pretty expensive, but it is cheaper in the winter.
