Halloween Happenings at the Fort

Hi Everyone :wave2: We will making our first visit to Fort Wilderness Oct 27 ~ Nov 3 rd. We are staying at a cabin. I'm sooo excited. We are planning on doing MNSSHP either the 28th or 30th not sure yet which. I wanted to leave Halloween free so we could do fun things around the World. I was told to check out DTD. Anything going on at the Fort we can do?? Will there be a schedule of events to clue us in?? Thanks soo much

I don't know about scheduled events, but a lot of the guests at Fort Wilderness set out in their chairs at their campsites and give out candy as kids go trick or treating site to site.

I wouldnt bother with DTD. We went last year and it was no big deal at all. In fact, my kids fell asleep. You just walk into the store and they put some candy in your bucket. Nothing special.

I think that trick or treating around the campground would probably be much better.
