This is the first time we are using DDP. At the sit down restaurants, what can you get for your nonalcoholic beverage? Would a virgin Pina Colada or Daiquiri be included, or is only soda included?

It really depends on the restaurant. Sometimes things like smoothies and shakes are included as the drink, sometimes not. You will need to ask when you arrive.

The Coral Reef allowed non-alcoholic specialty drinks as the DDP beverage. My sister's server made them aware of this while they were ordering. Our server did not tell us, or I would have ordered a Pina Colada.

Whispering Canyon allows the never-ending milkshake to be substituted as the beverage or the dessert. They allow you to try a different flavor with each refill, and there are all kinds of flavors. Cotton candy, orange, and caramel were some of our favorites.

I had the milk shake at Sci fi cafe, smoothies at Kona cafe, Le Cellier and Narcoossee's.

I think you've misunderstood what is available at Coral Reef. It isn't that you can order a Pina Colado and say make it w/o rum, but rather CR has a couple of specialty drinks with are non alcoholic. My mother had the Strawberry Stinger, probably like a daiquiri, but I can assure it she ordered the stinger, daiquiri was never part of the discussion. Now what surprised us is that she refilled the stinger, not sure that's usual, but she did it on her own, we did not request the refill. I had a soft drink as did our 5yo.

OP - coffee, tea, milk, soft drinks and in some cases milkshakes, smoothies and select specialty drinks apply on the DP. Best thing to do is to ask your server what options you have.
