We have got our reservations changed from Clarion Resort World based on the negative reviews I have heard. We changed to Homewood Suites on Palm Parkway. I was wandering if you guys could please give me reviews on this place. I want to know about it. We are staying June 29- July 7 and got it for 65 a night.
Thanks

My parents stayed there this past Nov. and really enjoyed their stay. They had a great breakfast and free happy hour. $65.00 seems like a very nice rate too. Enjoy your stay!

We did not stay there, but we did visit to check out the rooms & they were very nice.
Wow, that's a great rate for Homewood suites!!! The lowest I've paid is $89.00! In June I'm paying $107.00, how did you get that rate? BTW, it's a great hotel.

We stayed (briefly) at the Homewood in September... we weren't impressed at all!

I have stayed at the Homewood suites 6 times since it opened last year. I think the rooms are very clean, the service is friendly and all in all it is a great value (considering they give you breakfast). If you are looking for suite type hotels in the area, the SpringHill suites on Vineland (535) is also a nice place. SpringHill is a Marriott brand.

Our problem with the Homewood certainly could have been an abberation, but here is what we experienced:
*Half of the glasswear in our suite was dirty.
*Half of the untensils were dirty... and I don't mean a few water spots.
*The room smelled awful... like a cross between a dirty diaper and excessive mildew.
We had planned to stay there for our entire vacation, but we checked out the next morning and went to the Embassy suites instead.

Surprised..... considering they are Hilton owned. Did you get your money back? They do have 100% Satisfaction guarantee. Stayed at one just last week and I was very impressed.....

I was surprised as well... We arrived on September 13th last year... so the events of two days prior could have had something to do with it. They were as nice as could be anbout it, and didn't charge us for the one night we stayed.
