Hi everyone!! :disrocks:

I know I have a little more than 2 months til I go to Disney!!! But I couldn't help but start my pre-trippie early! Before I go to far I guess I should introduce the cast!!

The Cast:

DD (?)- My Dad who says he's getting tired of going to WDW. But didn't mind going back this time! And a little bit of a Grumpy!

DM (?)- Big Disney fan. She's on the Dis Board everyday!! Can't wait to go back!

DSis1 (20)- My older sister who is the the trip planning queen. She had everything together faster than you could say "Zip a dee doo da"!

Me (19)- Can't wait to go back to WDW!! I'm already getting stuff together!

DSis2 (14)- My younger sister who is a huge Disney fan. And is pretty much counting down the days!

DB (5)- My wonderfully active little bro. Who is right now trying to attack DSis1 over the TV remote!!

So thats our entire clan!! And we are packing up to go to WDW as soon as our turn comes around!

We are leaving early Sept 2nd. (early! HA HA) And we are planning on driving.:car: We would fly like last year but after my DD did some number crunching we found out it would be cheaper for all of us to drive than for all 6 of us to fly. But then my DD likes driving a whole lot more than flying. Mmmmm, Very suspisious! That is a rode trip I am NOT looking forward to! We live in Louisiana so we don't have it as bad as some. But still.

Lets see, I have been to WDW when I was about 18 months old (don't remember much), then in 2002, 2005, 2006, and 2007. Are you beginning to see the pattern? Ha Ha Ha!! Hey what can I say? I have the bug.

And also, I am just 19. I had my birthday yesterday. Yes, it was Father's Day! And since I am a bit of a Daddy's girl it was very fitting! :bday:

Last night I started feeling bad. So I sit here feeling ugh. :sad2: Talking to all of you.

Well, a little bit about me. I'm as you know 19 years old. I graduated in 2007. I was also home educated. Now I am working in a hair salon as an apprentice. I really enjoy it. And I have yet to ruin anyones hair! I also make cakes for birthdays, anniversary's, and weddings. Thats really fun!

Good evening everyone!!

I finally put some new pics in photobucket! I have been slacking in that area.

I'm sure ya'll have noticed my title. I am a huge fan of Beauty and the Beast. So I thought why not have a quote from one of my favorite movies!!

I was working all day today and I kept wanting to look at the Dis Board. I even tried looking it up on my friends iPhone. But it was soooo slow, I couldn't. :badpc:

Well, I guess I should tell everyone our itinerary.
We are going with the Disney Dining Plan so I will also include the restuarants.

Since we are driving we plan on leaving Sept. 1st and go about half way and then get a hotel. Spend the night and leave the next morning on our quest for Disney! No matter how long we drive I don't feel like I'm there until we go through those pearly WDW gates! A beautiful moment!:sunny:


Sept. 2nd-
Arrive at WDW and check into Disney's POP Century Resort. I will then go in my room and unpack like I'm staying there forever. (Now that's a dream!!) Then for dinner we are going to Wolfgang Puck's in Downtown Disney. Can't wait!!


Sept. 3rd-
Wake up as early as I can and get ready to head to the parks! First I have to get dressed in our matching shirts. Yes, we are the ones you saw on you last WDW trip wearing the matching shirts! One time someone took a picture of us!! Isn't that precious.:rolleyes2 HA! I think we are going to Animal Kingdom.


Sept. 4th-
Get up and go to Magic Kingdom and be at the Liberty Tree Tavern in time for our ADR! We will watch Wishes and I will wish with all my heart that I make it in the Cinderella Suite!!


Sept. 5th-
On this day we are heading to Epcot!!! That is such a cool park but not quite my favorite. We will be eating at Coral Reef!!! That place is delicious!


Sept. 6th-
Finally We are going to my favorite park! Disney's Hollwood Studios! Home of the amazing Tower of Terror! Ahhhhhh! We're eating at 50's Prime Time Cafe. Check out what happened the last time I went!
Thats our waitress. I didn't eat all my food and Aunt Carol took control of the situation! I was blushing sooo bad. :blush:

Sept. 7th-
On this day we are supposed to go back to Magic Kingdom. And for dinner we are headed to Ohana's!! I've never been there before.


Sept. 8th-
I get up and back to Epcot we go. And we make sure to catch the fireworks! Am I the only one who cries every time I watch it? :sad:


Sept. 9th-
Back to my favorite park. I will not leave until I am an extra in the Indiana Jones Stunt Show!! I love that show!! :cloud9: And we hit the hay but only after we have dinner at the very roudy Whispering Canyon Cafe!!! I can't wait to tell them its my Dad's birthday!! :ssst:


Sept. 10th-
This day we really don't know where we are going to go. We may just chill while I cry my little heart out. We will have to leave the next day!! Oh, and we are going to eat at Shutters. I've never been there either.


Sept. 11th-
I pack up all of my belongings, because I can't afford to stay any longer. Partly because I spent everything on souveniers! We shove everything in the back of our van and head back to Louisiana.


But hey, the sooner I get back I can start planning our next trip!!! :hyper:

Oh my goodness everyone!!! :eek:

I just found out that we can't drive. We have to fly. Our van is most certainly on its last tire!! And Dad says now we have to fly. So in the words of the infamous Peter Pan "You wanna fly? Let's fly!"

So we are searching the airlines for reasonable rates. Its pretty expensive for all of us to fly. But my Dad has a free ticket from the last time he had to fly. So that just leaves the 5 of us. And since I am paying my way I hope I can find something pretty low.

Please let me know if anyone has any tips or knows of any low rates!!:idea:

ETA: As far as airlines, I don't know what airports are near you or who flies out of them, but you might look into Southwest or Jetblue. Airtran is another that comes to mind as having lower fares, but I don't know anything about them. Check fares daily and when you find something you can live with, BOOK IT! Fares are not going down and if you have to fly, you'll want to find something sooner than later!

They will research it a bit before we go, and then see what other info they can get/learn from that country while we are there. OK new update!

I think our entire trip is about to change! :scared1: I don't think we are going to be able to stay as long as we thought! We really can't afford to fly and stay that long. So I'm pretty sure we are going down to 1 week. I'm dropping Wolfang Puck's and Shutters. :worried:
And to top it off we missed the $59 one way plane tickets! :(
So, I'm just going to take a deep breath in and figure out what I'm going to do.
Any ideas? :confused3

We are still looking for reasonable flights to Orlando from the New Orleans airport. We are checking everyday but have yet to find something. We missed that great deal yesterday! :worried: And we want to find a rental car. We really would rather not have to catch the buses. Sooooo, if anyone has any tips, codes, or advice, please help!!!! :confused:

Well, I thought I would try and give all of you an update. I asked my friend to come wih us to Disney!!! I'm waiting to hear back from him, I hope he says yes!! ::yes::

Let's see what else... :scratchin Oh, I know! I'll give all of you my list of what I need to do before we leave, and ya'll can keep reminding me!!!

1. Find airfare on Southwest.
2. Find a rental car. (Thrifty)
3. Find out if my friend is coming so we can make the changes to ADR's.
4. Finish school work before my exam before we leave.
5. Make countdown. (might work on that today)
6. Lose weight so I can fit in my clothes!! ;) (working on that!)
7. Save enough money to go!

I'm sure I'll add more later, just as soon as I think of it.

We saw those guys on our last trip! They were fantastic, but I did see them start scanning the crowd for people to pull in.... Thankfully we were already in the back so I made sure I was too far away!! ::yes::

I got our matching t-shirts today, along with a pack of transfer paper! We will be doing the Incredibles again (except my oldest DS; he's going as Syndrome...!) I just LOVE planning for a trip!! :cool1:

Hi everyone!!!

Here's another update:

The good news:
We found our plane tickets!!!! We are flying Southwest for $153 round trip! Yeah!! :woohoo:

The bad news:
My friend can't come. :sad1: I am heart broken. We were supposed to find all the Hidden Mickey's. :sad2: I must find a way to console myself.

I worked all day today and then when I was done I went and worked with my horse Bella. So I am now exhausted!

Well, all I have to find now is the car rental. I shall go to work on that now. I'll talk to ya'll later!!

Hi everyone, I'm back with updates. I know all of ya'll missed me!!

This is my third time typing out the beginning of this. My computer kept messing up!

Well, today was the day! In other words "Payday"! We had to pay for WDW today. It's now official, we are going to WDW!!!!!! There is no backing out now! Not that I had any plans of the sort. ;)

Since we had such a crazy time with our plans I thought I would list everything new and improved. Here we go!


Sept. 3rd- Travel- AK- 9:00-5:00
I wake up (if I've slept at all that night! :goodvibes). Leave the house for 4:00am (yes, I said AM) in order to catch our 6:10am flight. I'm hoping to catch a couple Zzzzzz's on the plane, hopefully. I'll think I'll be too nervous to sleep. We will SAFELY land and catch the Magical Express and head to POP Century Resort. When we check in, our rooms will be ready. Hah!! :confused3 We will then eat lunch and go to Animal Kingdom (AK). Then be at Port Orleans Riverside Resort for 7:30pm. Boatwrights is a wonderful resturant. I love :lovestruc their Apple Pie. Ohhhh. Sigh. Yummm. Oh, sorry I'm back. I was already tasting that Disney Magic! :goodvibes We will then come back to the hotel rooms and go to bed later than we should.

Sept. 4th- MK- 9:00-10:00
Roll out of bed. Check. Just barely. I do love my sleep! Hopefully wake up early enough to catch the opening ceremony at Magic Kingdom (MK). Were we will do as much stuff as we possibly can. And on the way I will look for all the Hidden Mickeys that I can find! We will have dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern at 7:35pm. And head back to our hotel and maybe go swimming or something.

Sept. 5th- Epcot- 9:00-9:00
On this day we are going to Epcot. And run around like crazy. And my sisters and I are signed up for a scavenger hunt that the homeschool group is doing. I hope I win!!! We will eat dinner at the Coral Reef at 7:50. I don't know if we will make the Fireworks at 9:00, I'll have to see.

Sept. 6th- DHS- 9:00-6:00
This is my favorite park. Disney Hollywood Studio's!!! I will also be in the Indiana Jones Stunt Show as an Extra!! I hope. If I yell loud enough when they ask for volunteers someone will notice! :thumbsup2 I also love the Beauty and the Beast Show. We are having dinner at Chef Mickey's at 9:10 in the Contemporary Resort. I know its kind of late so we are going to see if we can get a earlier ADR.

Sept. 7th- MK- 9:00-9:00
As you can see we are going to Magic Kingdom! Again. So we can finish up all the stuff we didn't make the first time. And on this day I know we will be chosen to spend the night in the castle! Of course we are. Hah!! Our next feast will be at Ohana's at 8:00. It's in the Poly Resort. We will go back to the hotel. I mean the Cinderella SUV will come pick us up so we can sleep in the castle. He he he he!!! :woohoo: Sweet Dreams!!

Sept. 8th- DHS- 9:00-8:00
Back to my favorite park. This time I'm going to see Light, Motors, Action!!!!! I love that show. And the Muppets 3-D, were we got our dream Fastpasses last year! Maybe we can move up to a little bit bigger dream this time? LOL! We will pig out at 50's Prime Time at 2:00. A little earlier than usual but we will just have a counter service as a late dinner. And when we leave I won't be going back for a long time! :sad1: I don't know what I am going to do. Maybe I can see Indiana one more time before I leave. Maybe get a photo and autograph? :laughing:

Sept. 9th- Epcot- 9:00-9:00
We are heading back to Epcot. And ride Mission: SPACE again!! WhooHoo!! Yeah!! Feel the G's! :woohoo: And this time we WILL make the fireworks. Am I the only one who cries during the show? :sad1: Its so inspirational!!! We are having dinner at Whispering Canyon Cafe' in Fort Winlderness at 8:20. That is one roudy resturant. A bit of advice: DO NOT tell them its your Birthday. You will regret it in the middle of being very embarressed!! :scared: But I also have to mentally prepare myself to leave this happiest place on earth. I hope I can do it. :guilty:

Sept. 10th- AK- 9:00-5:00
We will get up and go to Animal Kingdom. But this is also the day we leave. I probably pack the night before so everything will be ready to go. I will probably cry as I get on the Magical Express and peer through the window, press my nose against the glass and look at the people just arriving, wishing I could do it all over again. Sniff Sniff. :sad1: Then I will board the plane heading home, not as excited as when I first boarded the plane a couple days earlier. And I hope I don't get sick like I did last time. :sick: Breathing other peoples air over and over again. And not having the pixie dust to breath and play with like on the way there. And I sure hope Peter Pan and Tinkerbell come by before we take off. I would like a little help in the flying area. Ha Ha!! :laughing:

Yes, I know I am over doing it a little bit. But I enjoy doing that.

Well, I went to the stable today and then to work and then just chilled out!

I didn't ride my horse today, I rode one named "T". Seriously. A nice loonnnggg name! ;) But he is much, much bigger than mine. (Poor Bella is kind of short!) So at first I was kind of nervous, but he was great when I got used to him!
And he would trot. Unlike mine (her name is "Bella"). I really believe she is the laziest horse alive. And she's only three. Anyway the man who is training me let me run the barrels on "T". It was so fun. There is a certain adrenaline rush when you go around that center barrel and head home!!! :woohoo: I know all of you love reading how I could go on and on about horses and riding! :rolleyes: But I can't help myself!! :yay:

And to help that I'll post some pics of when I rode last week!

I was wondering how you update your title too! Only I never knew how to so it's not as frustrating for me as it must be for you.

Love your positive thinking about getting a dream and the castle and how you have it down to the exact days you want them.

I have a hard time sleeping right the night before too. I'm always afraid I will forget something. Then I lie there in bed mad at myself for not sleeping because I know I need the sleep other wise I will be cranky. It's vicious cycle. I drive my DH crazy with it. He's a sleeper though and can fall asleep anywhere anytime except a vehicle. He never worries about getting organized for a big event like Disney but then he knows I'm doing enough stressing about it for all of us.

Ok, if you ever want to just babble on and on about horses.....PM ME!!!!! Oh my goodness that's my favorite thing in the world to discuss (besides Disney!). If I can scan some pics later, I'll PM you some of my "good ol' days!"

Hello again everyone!!!

Sorry I haven't been here in a while. My barber exam is tommorrow:scared1: and I had to cram.
But now I'm really not feeling well. :sick: I even missed church this morning.

But on a good note. I went to ride my horse yesterday. And she has been so bad the trainer had me put on spurs. Well, that made her listen better. but since she's so stubborn she ran me against the fence and my foot and knee got caught in it. While she kept going! I reached out to push myself away and cut my hand on the top of the fence. Gosh, that hurt! I straighted her out and we started trotting again and she got mad and tried to buck me off!!! I am so glad I stayed on!! Then the trainer got on her she listened just fine to him!! :rolleyes: I got back on her and she did so well. I'm so proud of her. We were trotting around the pen and she wouldn't stop until I told her to. Before I could barely get her to walk she was so lazy! Then when I got off she started loving on me, nuzzling me with her nose and laying her head on me. I was so excited. I think she may be getting better!!

So I told ya'll I would talk about my horse as much as I could!!

I'm still feeling yuck, so I'll come back later.

I'm a big believer in the "natural" methods (John Lyons, Marty Roberts, Pony Boy, etc.). I dream of the day I can have another of my own, but then we talk about finding a way to keep sending DS11 to the Christian all-boy's camp every summer, and fitting in family vacations to Florida, and it reminds me of exactly why I can't right now! This week is much slower for me so I promise I'll try to scan some of my old pics and send those to you! :goodvibes

Thank you so much. Tell you the truth, I'm not sure what "method" he uses. He's not the kind that beat them into submission or anything. And he is very good. My horse likes her trainer more than she likes me!! But what ever he's doing its working. She has just been bad lately because she's got attitude to make up for her small size! And we had her in a stall, but when we let her out in the pasture her attitude improved.
I want to ride her again but I'm still not feeling well. Thanks so much for commenting.

And the big thing. I turned nineteen and our insurance dropped me!!! So it would probably cost a small fortune to go to the doctor.

I didn't make it to my exam. My supervisor called me back and told me if I miss tonight I have to take two on my next exam. :eek: Wonderful. I better start studying now!

My Mom (Isn't she great!) calld our ENT and she called in some antibiotics for me. So I am felling a tad bit better. :sick: Not as green as this little guy. And it only hurts when I swallow. I still can't believe how fast it came on. I was fine one minute and sick the next. Sound exciting huh?

Love your horse pics/stories. I just sold my horse....it got to be over $400 a month and I wasn't riding enough once my son was born. I sold him to an 11 yo girl!! He really likes her and I think they make a great pair. It was sad but for the best.

I've been really busy lately, so I haven't been around for a while. Whew, sometimes I just like to slllllooooowwww down and take a nap. Like I did today, it is a day of rest. I can't help it if I like to sleep alot.:faint:

Anyway, I helped my DDad put together a shelf today for his shed. We open the box and everything seemed normal. So we take out the million pieces it comes with and when we get to the very bottom, the wood that is the actual shelf was broken!! Of course it had to be at the very bottom. :crazy2: It looked like it had been dropped. We were not too happy. And since DDad has to work tommorrow I am going to bring it back to the store we got it from. I won't say the name... (cough, Lowe's, cough) Hey, I said I wouldn't say it, I never said I wouldn't spell it!! ;) So that was an adventure, and I'm sure the customer service line tommorrow will be too! :eek:

Let's see what else? :scratchin Oh!

And I couldn't be happier because not only was it a truck it was THE truck. It happened to be a Chevy. And I love Chevrolet's!!!!! So I cruised around town in "my" truck. Ha Ha!! When I got it there was 3/4 of a tank in it. I ran around so much there wasn't much left and I had to fill it up. Let me tell you that hurt. Like the old lady from The Incredibles says: "I'm on a fixed income!" Well, thats me. So, when I puut gas in the truck :eek: (that I liked so much) I was wishing it was one of these: :moped: Do those even take gas? :laughing: I'm sure the gas prices are hurting everyone, and I am NOT ready for my own car yet!!

I've been trying my hand at designing the pictures for shirts. So if anyone wants anything just ask me. And I'll try!! I may post a thread on the Creative DISigns soon.

Love your horse pics/stories. I just sold my horse....it got to be over $400 a month and I wasn't riding enough once my son was born. I sold him to an 11 yo girl!! He really likes her and I think they make a great pair. It was sad but for the best.

Anyway - that was not why I was commenting. I really love your DISigns. You did a really good job. I am going to have to figure out how to do those. I want a Wilderness Lodge DISign - but I can't find anyone to do one for me. (Hint, Hint).

They don't have horses yet, and I said they are more than welcome to call mine their own! And mine is rarely on a hard surface and her hooves are in good condition so I don't have to shoe her right now. Whew! :eek: I don't think I could do that either. In fact, I know I couldn't!!

Sorry about not driving!! I am a LITTLE scared of flying. Just a little, or thats what I keep telling myself! ;) I just close my eyes and go to Neverland for about an hour and a half!!

I must be so fun to work with the babies!! Our local hospital will sometimes let people in just to hold the preemies. I would love to do that!!

But maybe I'll do he hair thing for a while! ;)

If I ever was a nurse that is what I would do. I was in the room when my Mom had my little brother and it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. And the nurses do most of the work. They take the babies and clean them up, and then when they give them back to the Mom that must be the hilight of the job. It must be a joy helping to bring life into the world!!! :goodvibes

As for the Wilderness Lodge, I'll work on it and see what I can do. Did you have any certain thing in mind? Mickey head, or just the pic, any phrase? Let me know!!

I am very blessed to be able to keep her like that. My horse is a Quarter Horse so she can do with out the shoes as long as she stays on dirt. If I ever ride her on something really hard I will put shoes on her. I wish we had a bit more land so I could MAYBE get another one. We'll see! ;) :rolleyes1

I know a horse named Missy. She is not mine, but she is right down the road! I am glad I can spend time with mine right now. She is at the trainers so I can't play with her as often as I like! I can't wait til she comes home. :)

Well, for the update.


I thought I could go back and review the list I made earlier.


1. Find airfare on Southwest. :thumbsup2 :woohoo:
2. Find a rental car w/ Thrifty (Yeah, We found a Wild Car for about $160 for a week!) So, :thumbsup2
3. Find out if my friend is coming so we can make the changes to ADR's. (Pipe dream) :sad2:
4. Finish school work before my exam before we leave. (Ugh, I'll study for the one that I missed and the one coming up!) :scared:
5. Make countdown. (All done with only 35 days to go!!) :thumbsup2
6. Lose weight so I can fit in my clothes!! (Still working on that, but I'm wearing a pair of bermudas I couldn't wear before!!) ;)
7. Save enough money to go! (Really still working on that. I have the money for the trip, just not for my share of the gratuity with free dining.) :upsidedow



So Class, lets review again.

I think its safe to cross out 1, 2, 3, and 5. Thats not that bad and we still have 35 days to go. I wonder how much weight I can lose in 35 days? :idea: I'll have to think.

Onto packing. I'm still think of everything I need to pack. Because last time we forgot one of our cellphones. :eek: How are we supposed to survive without a cellphone? Personally, I kind of liked it!! ;) But this year we are not going for as long as we did last time, so it should be ok.

Hi everyone!!!

I'm here for an update.

In the planning stage we are now waiting for our package from WDW with our airport luggage tags, final comformations, Magical express tickets, etc. The trip doesn't feel real until we get all that stuff. So now the wait goes on... :scared: I CAN'T STAND WAITING!! :mad:

So, I've been really busy lately. I've been having some trouble at work. And I think I've decided to try and find somewhere else to work and learn. I was working way to hard for what they were paying me and thay were not treating mevery well. And they refused to even consider a raise from the peanuts I was making. Oops, I better stop or a certain you know who may come back!!! :laughing: Anyway, it all peaked on Friday. And after I told my DDad what happened he said I wasn't going back. And I'm glad. So that happened Friday.

And then... On Saturday morning I woke up and I found out my DBro was sick all night long. My poor baby! :hug: And then I started to not feel well. We went fishing and I was about to get sick (throw-up) and I was feeling kind of loopy. So we finally came home (and by the way we didn't catch anything either. :sad2:) and I crashed in the recliner and almost slept all day. My family went and had dinner at Las Palmas, my favorite Mexican resturant. But everytime I thought about it I felt worse. So thats how my day went.

And then... This morning I woke up and I took a shower and started to get ready for church. But I started feeling really bad again, so I stayed home. I hacked on the computer until my family came home. Ans so here I am. Sitting here just typing away and hoping someone will listen. All right I know I'm being sappy!! :rolleyes:


I believe we only have 31 days until we go to Disney!!!


Its getting closer and closer. And some good news. I've lost about 7 pounds and probably will lose more from being sick. :sick: I'm excited about that!!! And I have my money saved up already. Hello everyone,


I have a big update!!


I quit my job. :eek: I know that was a really good idea to do just a couple of weeks before going to Disney. But it was getting worse and worse. It is really a big mess. When I told the lady I thought it would be best if I found somewhere else to work she said that would be a good idea. And then she started telling me everything I didn't do right in the past year. So it is a big mess. :guilty:

I am now a jobless barber apprentice looking for someone else to take me on. :sad2: I have a few prospects that I am going to look into. Whew.


And we are planning on having a garage sale next weekend. So we have been doing some deep cleaning. And I am now exhausted. My little brother's birthday is on Monday, so we are getting ready for that too. Tomorrow I'm going to work with my horse and then tomorrow night is our local Balloon Festival. Its really fun, they do a balloon glow where all the balloons flicker there lights. Its so pretty. And then they do an amazing fireworks show. Close to WDW but not quite. ;)


Well, thats all I have for now. I'll post as soon as I get some more material!! Off to watch TV. popcorn::

It turns out that we are not going to the balloon festival. We were really busy cleaning up outside in preparation for my little DBro's birthday. We have some friends that live a bit away so we don't get to see them that often. We invited them to his birthday and they said they were not sure if they would be able to come because they are having car trouble. So we told them we would meet them halfway and then bring them home after the party so we can see one of the boys before he heads off to college :teacher: and we don't see him again til Thanksgiving. It makes me wish no one had to grow up and get responsible. :rolleyes: Like me who is still looking for a job. :rolleyes1 I'm working on it.


I rode Bella today. She was fine when I was only making her walk. :rolleyes2 Then I made her step up to a trot. Well, you would think by the way she acted I was beating her or something. :sad2: She tried to buck me off, and she would pin her ears back, then try to pin me against the fence! :scared: But in the end of the great battle (almost starting World War 3) I WON!!! When I got off of her she started following me around! :lovestruc How sweet. Hah! She never worked up such a sweat. Come to think of it I haven't either!! :rotfl:



I'm sure I'll come back to ramble on about something else!! ;)

I have some good news. :listen:

I called a friend of a friend who happens to be a hair stylist. ;) And I asked her if she would be interested in taking me on. She said she would love to meet me!!! So I'm going to go on Friday to meet her and the other lady who works in the shop. And I would be paid more than my last job!!! :woohoo: That's a big :woohoo: !!!


So I am in a really good mood right now!! Even though it rained almost all day. :umbrella:

And my little brother's birthday went really well yesterday. We were able to get one of the most rare toys around. :magnify: WALL-E and EVE. Around here you can't find them anywhere. It was very frustrating, because that is what he really wanted. So we found it. :p I'll post some pics soon.

Tommorrow is our neighbors mothers funeral. So thats some bad news. We are making some food and helping out tommorrow and the next day. Thats why I had to meet the lady on Friday.

And they shipped our package out yesterday!!!! Its going Priority, so it should be here soon!!!! :eek: It will all seem real when it comes!!!!
We only have 22 days left. :dance3: I can hardly believe it!!!

More good news. Since I am a hair stylist I love doing different stuff to my hair. Well, the lady I was working with never wanted to help me do my hair and I could never do it by myself. So one of my new friends from church is a retired hair stylist and we are going to do my hair on Tuesday. The picture I picked is a really pretty brunette with some subtle hilites. I'm so excited. :rotfl:

I met the lady yesterday and she asked me to do a Womens hilite and a Boys cut. So I hilited my Mom's hair and cut my little brothers hair. She said she thought I did really well. And she wants to talk more on Monday. :confused: I hope she liked me. :guilty: So now I have to wait in agony til Monday!!!! And not to mention last night I dreamt she told me I didn't get the job. I think I'm paranoid. :sad2: So now I wait.

Onto the hair pic. I will take one tommorrow and post it on here. I don't get my hair done until Tuesday. I really can't wait until I get it done!!!! I'm so ready for a new do.

I did cut my grandmothers hair today. Tommorrow is her birthday. We are having a birthday/going away party for my grandmother and my cousin. My cousin just enlisted in the army so he heads off this Wendsday. So I made a ARMY cake and a Happy Birthday cookie cake for my grandmother. In fact I just finished decorating them. :scared: It took me forever. Now I need to clean up the kitchen and then take a shower and get to bed. We have church in the morning and the party after that.

I called the lady back today like she asked me to on Friday. And she said she wants to hire me!!!!!!!! :eek: I am so excited. I start for sure on Saturday, but it may be before then. I'm not sure. I have to call her tommorrow.

I met the lady yesterday and she asked me to do a Womens hilite and a Boys cut. So I hilited my Mom's hair and cut my little brothers hair. She said she thought I did really well. And she wants to talk more on Monday. :confused: I hope she liked me. :guilty: So now I have to wait in agony til Monday!!!! And not to mention last night I dreamt she told me I didn't get the job. I think I'm paranoid. :sad2: So now I wait.

Onto the hair pic. I will take one tommorrow and post it on here. I don't get my hair done until Tuesday. I really can't wait until I get it done!!!! I'm so ready for a new do.

I did cut my grandmothers hair today. Tommorrow is her birthday. We are having a birthday/going away party for my grandmother and my cousin. My cousin just enlisted in the army so he heads off this Wendsday. So I made a ARMY cake and a Happy Birthday cookie cake for my grandmother. In fact I just finished decorating them. :scared: It took me forever. Now I need to clean up the kitchen and then take a shower and get to bed. We have church in the morning and the party after that.

Hey everyone!!!

I have a little update.

My Mom was able to move her appt. from Thursday to tommorrow morning. I think my older sister is going to go with her while I saty and watch my two younger sibbies. (My DBro and DSis!! ;)) So please be thinking and praying for her in the morning!! :)


And I got my hair done today!!!!!! :eek: I love it!!! It came out a little lighter than I thought. But its very natural and it also has a red tint to it. That really makes me fit into my family. My DDad has bright red hair. And so does alot of other people. Sorry, still working on the pics!! :sad2: Stop procrastinating, Sarah. Is that how you spell that word? :confused3


Another update is my DC (cousin) joined the ARMY and he left today. And he heads to boot camp tommorrow. So we will all miss him. :sad1: He also needs prayers. I don't know if he would ever have to serve a tour in Iraq. I have mixed feelings on that. I am so proud of all the soldiers over there. I just want my cousin to be safe. DC's commander was trying to recruit my little DBro. Ha Ha!! He needs a little training and disipline!! :laughing: He was ACTING shy. He's never shy. :rolleyes:

I had made a cake as a going away present and put the ARMY logo on it. I'll post a pic as soon as I download them. Anyway, he let his commanders have some and they asked for some of my business cards. They may want me to do a cake for there special functions! :eek: And he said he may be able to get me a contract with them!!! :scared1: Can you imagine? Everytime they would need a cake I would do it!!!!! Oh great, they would probably want the Marines or the Navy symbol!! Help!!!! :goodvibes All that camo, my head is reeling! :rotfl:

Hey everyone,

This has to be a short message.

My Mom has to have her gallbladder taken out. I am about to leave for the hospital right now. Please pray for her. She is kind of nervous about it. Who wouldn't be?

She will probably have to stay over night. And we'll have to see if she better in time for us to go to WDW. It's only 13 days away. :scared1:

So I don't know when I'll be back. But I'll post an update as soon as possible!!!

No, when it happened to me, I would get these episodes of having a very intense "ache" in the middle of my back. One night it finally got so bad that DH took me to the emergency room. I had NO idea what it could be so it was pretty scary. They scheduled my surgery just a week later, and all that week I pretty much ate oatmeal, rice cakes and rice! Fatty foods triggered my attacks.

OK. Its been kinda crazy but our trip is sneaking up on us!!

Thank you so much for commenting. My Mom had to go back to the doctors today. When she left the hospital the nurse told her she couldn't sit down in a tub but she could take a shower. Well, the bandaids covering the wounds got wet of course. She called the doctors for something and mentioned that she took a shower. They told her to come in so they could change the bandages. She wasn't supposed to get them wet! So everything goods now. She went and got them changed. That was a bit of an adventure!!!

Sept. 3rd
Leave house around 4:10a.m. for the airport. Yes, I know that's very early!!
We arrive around 7:40a.m. DDad and I will go get rental car and everyone else will take the ME to POP Century where we will meet and check in. I doubt our rooms will be ready that early. So we will head tooooo...
Animal Kingdom. That day they have the evening EMH. But I don't know if we will last the whole day. We will be really tired.
ADR: Boatwrights for 7:30p.m.
Then go to our hotel rooms and fall into bed!!

Sept. 4th
Wake up completely refreshed. And head to:
Magic Kingdom. They have the morning EMH.
ADR: Liberty Tree Tavern for 7:35p.m.
Maybe go swimming if I can keep my eyes open!! :faint:

Sept. 5th
Get up. More like roll out of the bed.
Our park for today is:
Epcot Very educational. :thumbsup2
Run around there looking for stuff. And then head to the Living Seas area.
ADR: Coral Reef for 7:50p.m.
Go home with prizes!! :rolleyes:

Sept. 6th
Heading to my favorite park!!!
Disney's Hollwood Studios. Great shows.
Look for Indiana Jones!! :magnify:

I know its late but we will probably go straight to bed after.

Hey there everyone,

The last couple days have been an adventure!!

Believe it or not I am in Florda right now!! :scared1: We left Friday evening. We live in Louisiana and Hurricane Gustav is heading right for us. The last flight out of New Orleans airport was Friday evening at 8:20pm. So in the course of one day we had a garage sale, delivered a entertainment center, rushed packing, and drove to NO airport, jumped on a plane and landed in Orlando, and got the retal car, all in one day. Whew. I am still tired.

We also had to move our car rental reservation. We were supposed to get a full-size to fit us all in. Well, the full-size was a Dodoge Charger. Not enough seat belts or luggage space. So we upgraded. :sad2: To a Dodge Chrysler Van. There is no way its a 2008. It was dirty and tends to turn left all the time! Sorry, I am a major Cheverolet fan. In my book there is NO other car. Except GMC. Ha Ha!!! :rotfl:

Worst yet if you have reservations at the hotel at Old Town, run as far away as you can. Unless you like roaches and drag racing. On the way to NO which is like an hour away we called and reserved a room there. We had stayed there about 6 years ago and it was a pretty nice place. Well, now its not. We didn't stay long. As in an hour and then left to go hotel hunting. Fun Fun. No one had any rooms! I guess its because of Labor Day. So we rolled into an IHOP around 2:30am. We ate then went to looking again. Finally around 5:00a.m. we found a room. It was only two beds for six people so my little bro and I slept on the floor. I was so tired I didn't care.

So I woke up Saturday morning feeling a little more refreshed. We had to go to a different hotel. I crashed again when I got there. We just hung out there until we went to eat and then went to Wal-mart. Have to go there. :rolleyes: Came back and watched Family Matters and Home Improvement. Then went back to bed. I would have wrote then but the WI FI at the hotel was in the lobby only. Oh my. I don't want to hand out in the lobby in my PJs. Uh, they need to get with the program.

So I am now at my great aunt and uncles house near Tampa. And Gustav is still barreling for LA. We are getting some of the weather from it here. So, I'm still reeling from it all. I think we are about to eat dinner so I'll come back later. I have lots of pics of our adventures. I'll post them as soon as I can.

Yuk on the hotel thing. :scared1: I can't get over how the health department lets some of these places stay in business. :eek:

I hope that everything goes well in NO too. I'm praying for that.

We are starting to get some rain and wind from Gustav here now, in Mobile. I have been praying that this storm does not do to the Gulf Coast what Katrina did.

Anyway, I am glad ya'll are out of LA and getting ready to spend time with the Mouse. Glad you had a safe tirp. HAVE FUN. Looking forward to the pics :surfweb:.
