Kids at Tanque Verde question

This question is directed to anyone who has done the ranch with their kids. We are thinking of going next April for a few days, with our boys who will be 11 & 13 at the time. I was looking at the TV website, and am still not clear on this part. Would my 11 year old (will be 3 months shy of 12) be allowed to ride with us on the trails, or will he have to stay with the kids club? We are all pretty inexperienced riders, having been riding only a few times each. I really want us to be able to stick together, and probably would hold off on the trip if it meant we would have to split up. For anyone that has traveled with kids of similar ages, could you please share how this was handled? Thanks so much!

I'm sorry I don't know the answer to your question - have you thought of sending the ranch an e-mail?

Glad you asked. I have an 11 year that woulddlove to go but I would not enjoy it if we were splite up.

A few days ago, Cora had posted the new point cost for Tanque Verde. It was pretty high, but I think we still might do a 3 day splurge, in addition to a few days somewhere else. I am going to try to link you to the thread so you can read the whole thing. If it doesn't work, I'll come back and try something else!
