I am considering purchasing a membership to the DC for our Jan. '03 WDW vacation.
I looked on the DIS site under discounts for the DC and it mentions "Entertainment Club benefits" on thousands of hotels.
Has anybody been able to use this card to obtain good discounts on WDW resorts or DTD hotels?
Overall, is this card worth the $30.00 investment?

Also, I keep hearing about discounts through "Connections" and I am not sure what this is all about but it does sound interesting. If anybody could provide any info on this program/card I would appreciate it. I know a subscription costs $79.95/year, but what do you get for that?
Thanks,

the thread entitled "What a Ripoff? This thread seems to address a lot of the same questions I had regarding the DC.
But is someone could still address the "Connections" question that would be great!

Mary Waring has a great write-up on Connections on her Mousesavers website. Here is the link http://www.mousesavers.com/connections.html

Connections offers discounts on park passes (for WDW and other places) along with meal vouchers of different kinds for WDW restaurants. It does cost $80/year but they do offer a one-month trial for $1.

I would suggest researching the benefits of both Disney Club and Connections to see if the benefits they offer would really work for you. We have found them both to be very beneficial to our family but you may have different spending habits and therefore they may or may not work for you.

Good luck,
