Think there's a chance of AP discount for AKL / WL in Jan?

Does anyone have any idea? Anyone know if there have been AP discounts for these resorts in the past in January? If so, how much was it? Yeah, I'm full of questions...

Absolutely. I'm certain there will be AP discounts for January. However, last year (and previous years) there have been blackouts. Mostly the discounts will not begin until Jan. 3. Plus MLK weekend will be blackedout. Unless history totally changes this year because of the economy, I'm expecting this scenario again. Just because there are black outs, that doesn't mean you won't get a discount throughout your stay, just that certain days will/might be excluded. We arrive on Jan. 17th and would love a discount for that one night before moving to our DVC resort, but have budgeted for a full price room at a value right now. I've not booked so not to give Disney a false sense of booking in hopes for a discount.
