OK, I wasted an hour of my life on that Travel Channel Commerical.

That thing needed Deevee See. Or something?

If you were in it, please don't take this personally, but surely Disney and the Travel Channel could have made this more "interesting" and less "info-mercial"

It was very much like that channel in my hotel room. Heck, it would have been more fun to follow that family of 10 around and just see HOW they do it!!!

I was not impressed at all. The family of 10, however, was impressive. :)

And they chose BCV as their home resort - no Grand Villas.

It looked to me they were staying in an OKW unit, 12 folk in all including g-ma & g-pa.

I was surprised they spent so much time focusing on vacations by Disney and all the spa treatments. I really wanted to see more of Vero Beach, Hilton Head, plans for Hawaii & of course, the Tree houses which weren't even whispered. It was so dull my 80# Disney-fanatic son fell asleep on the couch watching it... anyone want to help me carry him upstairs?

Was it worse than the Country Bears movie?:rotfl2:

I was going to stay up until 11 pm to catch it tonight, but sounds like I should go ahead and take my benadryl now;)

I found this peculiar also...how did they get one of the few GV @ BWV at 7 months:confused3 .

Must have been the magic of television:wizard: !

Thanks for watching lol..im on the west coast and have not seen it yet i'm dying to see the final cut.

I just wanted to say how blessed i am to have been able to participate in this. I had an absolute blast and wouldnt trade the experience to be a part of Disney in this fashion for the world!

Yup. It was. Sorry. It was just so "sales-y". I know that the purpose was probably to sell DVC memberships, but that's not what I expect from the Travel Channel shows. I expect a show that will inspire me to want to visit the subject of the show without hitting me over the head with a sales pitch. It was a disappointment.

I was busy watching Soap Net at 7PM and was going to watch at 11PM. So it's not really worth staying up for? And I have to watch Andrew Zimmerman eating haggis and eels before??

I thought the family's did fine!
Despite the commercial-ness, they were not able to introduce the numbers, so why would you want to get locked into something if you had no idea of those numbers. In part because of the # ommission, they could not join the stories together.

I would of preferred this BLT introduction to Deevee-See's.

I thought the show was quite enjoyable. My DH and I watched and it was interesting to see the other trips that you could take besides Disney and to see some of the other families that had utilized the exchanges. I am just glad that I don't have to feed the family of 8 kids. Wow, 2 gallons of milk a day!

Which family was yours? I thought the show was "ok" but I was so envious of the families that were on the show!! I applied and never heard back.

By the way, back to the topic, Thank goodness no Deevy See!!!

I truly enjoyed it and thought it was very entertaining. The attorney couple were so fun and I actually laughed out loud a few times when the husband said some funny things. :confused3

I thought the show was pretty good.
They did not seem to rush things and present a lot of facts and figures. The good news was that DEE Vee Cee was not on. DW and I enjoyed it.:goodvibes
