We are:

Tony, (DH - Tony64) age 44 - in charge of driving, collecting coffee and doughnuts for breakfast, running to get fast passes and generally stressing. This is his ninth trip.

Theresa (me), age 43 - in charge of the credit cards and plotting quickest routes to the shopping malls. This is my tenth trip.

Maddie (DD-MaddieB), age 19 - jointly in charge of where we eat, shop and play this trip. This is her seventh trip.

Callum (DS) age 18 - in charge of himself. This is his seventh trip.

Wednesday 27th August 2008.

Today we had a long lie-in and had planned on going to the pool in the morning but we couldn’t be bothered! Instead we watched a couple of episodes of ‘House’ and reheated the pizza we had leftover from yesterday. While we were eating, there was a knock at the door. It was a lady from the management company who said we might have been put in the wrong apartment! She said she would go off and check then a few minutes later we had a phone call to say it was ok; we were in the right place. Thank goodness, as we are so untidy it would have taken us ages to pack up and move.

After lunch, we went to the Mall at Millenia for an afternoon of shopping. We went to Tiffany’s and Maddie has finally got her 18th Birthday present (18 months late!). She chose a traditional heart tag bracelet and matching choker necklace and a ring with a pink tourmaline.

Maddie also bought a hoodie from Hollister then we had a look at the Clinique cosmetics in Macy’s but I decided to see if I can get some in the Labour Day sales. We also tried some perfumes in Lacoste. Cal bought a fish-eye camera and a book called ‘Found’ from Urban Outfitters.

After leaving the Mall we went to The Golden Corral for dinner. (We tried to persuade Maddie and Cal to try The Cheesecake Factory at the Mall, but it couldn't rival The Golden Corral in their eyes).
I had pot roast (delicious soft melt in the mouth beef), mashed potatoes and green beans plus a few desserts. (Actually, it was probably more than a few). Tony and Cal had pot roast, steak, chicken, pizza etc. Maddie had pizza, chicken, ice-cream with sprinkles and cookies.

After dinner, we had a round of mini golf at ‘Hawaiian Rumble’ golf opposite the Sheraton Vistana Resort. Tony won. Though this was disputed by all of us as he was also scoring.

This is the only photo we have for today. I think we were arguing over a point!

There was a storm going on around us and the sky was really dark, but we were lucky and only had a few spots of rain.

We popped into Target and bought a few things – the complete series 1 of ‘24’ on DVD for $19.99 for Maddie, a DVD (‘Control’) for Cal, a CD for Tony (Sugarland) and some ribbons for me for my scrapbooking which were $1 each – 5 ribbons on each spool. We also bought a monkey dog toy for Tilly.

Then it was back to the condo as we need to be up bright and early tomorrow for a day at Hollywood Studios.

Was the photo taken with Cal's new camera? It seems to have captured the lighting very well.

What does Tony make of the new Sugarland album? It's a bit of a departure from their previous stuff, but it's growing on me.

Hi Debs, yes it was, he has a Fuji S1000, Nice little camera. When we found one that would work.

Sugarland is different, but I like it.

Oh, by the way, Tone - they're playing at the Silver Spurs Arena in Kissimmee whilst we're out there. Trouble is, it's the night we move from WDW to Universal for a two night stay the whole point of which is to spend time around CityWalk in the evening and not have to worry about driving, so now we're in a real quandary. :scratchin
