Glad you are all joining me! Thanks!
First let me say, that I have read almost every single dining report on here for the past 5 months or so. I just couldn't believe it when people would say that it was too much food, that they had to share, they couldn't finish one of the Goofy Candy Co. snacks, etc.
Well...I am here to tell you...IT'S SO MUCH FOOD!!! :rotfl2:

Upon our arrival at the airport, it proceeded to start raining...I'm talking monsoon type rains and heavy gusts of wind. Which we would later find out was because of Ike. We saw the weather forecast later that night, and the outer bands of Ike were definitely sweeping across Florida.
I had reservations at Tutto Italia in Italy and was very much looking forward to this meal! So off we went with our ponchos.
We signed in at the desk and waited no more than 2 minutes for our table. Our reservations were for 4:50 p.m. Our waitress was very nice. This was immediately brought to our table:
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f185/taryngirl/Disney/005.jpg
My dh devoured those olives and vegetables. I tried one carrot and it was okay. It had that funky taste though like some kind of marinade. The bread was not so good to me, but I don't like hard bread. But, you see those thin sticks to the top left? Those were delicious!!! I forget exactly what was in the dip, but I seem to recall ricotta cheese and something else. I didn't even try that.
Dh had the Branzino in Padella - striped bass filet with sweet tomatoes, zucchini and Sardinian "fregoal" $35
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f185/taryngirl/Disney/006.jpg
He really liked this but by the end was peeling part of the skin off, so I don't know what that means! The "fregoal" was actually pretty good as I tasted it.
I had a hard time deciding what I wanted. I went back and forth, but ended up with the Penne Caprese with crushed tomatoes, mozzarella cheese and basil $24
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f185/taryngirl/Disney/007.jpg
This was really good, and all that mozzarella on the top was just so fabulous. The pasta was al dente which is not usually how I make it at home, but it was quite tasty. I was very happy with my choice.
Once we finished our dinners (of which we ate it all!), we were greeted by our waitress and several others. They brought us this yummy dessert and sang us a song for our anniversary.
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f185/taryngirl/Disney/009.jpg
This was chocolate with chocolate mousse type stuff in the middle. It was SO GOOD!
We then ordered our desserts that came with our dining plan.
Dh ordered Copetta Sotto Bosco - berries, zabaglione cream gelato and chocolate sauce $14.00
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f185/taryngirl/Disney/010.jpg
He ate it all, so I guess he liked it! I tried the cream gelato from this and didn't care for it.
I don't see the dessert I ordered on allears.net but it was just okay. I think I was spoiled by the yummy chocolate dessert they brought us!

We were pleasantly surprised at the food court here. It was not busy at all when we got there which was around 7:30 a.m.
I had an omelete made to order. It had ham, peppers, onions, tomatoes and cheddar cheese. I also got a bottled water and a bottle of apple juice as my drinks. This also came with the breakfast potatoes.
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f185/taryngirl/Disney/017.jpg
This was actually VERY good! It was huge and I couldn't eat it all, so dh finished it. I did eat all of the potatoes though. They were GREAT!
Dh didn't have anything for breakfast except for coffee in his refillable mug.

On our DHS day, I really wanted to try Sci Fi because I had never eaten there. I thought the theming looked cool and the menu appealed to me.
Our ADR was for 11:00 a.m. and we were just a few minutes late. But there were tons of people already checked in and waiting, so we must have all had 11:00 a.m. ADRs! We waited maybe 10 minutes to be seated.
I LOVED the atmosphere here!
Here's a shot from our car towards the kitchen. It filled up a little bit more, but there were definitely empty tables.
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f185/taryngirl/Disney/021.jpg
I already had a plan for this meal. We paid for this OOP because I wanted appetizers.
To start we had the onion rings and spinach dip.
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f185/taryngirl/Disney/022.jpg
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f185/taryngirl/Disney/023.jpg
The onion rings were REALLY good. I loved them and ate almost all of them. They were a little greasy, but I think that's how they are supposed to be!
The dip was just okay for me, but dh loved it. The chips were warm and good.
For our meal, we split a burger and fries. I told the waiter this, and I asked if we could only get mushrooms on half (because I don't really like them). When he brought it out, it was plated separately for us with the onions and mushrooms in little cups.
Here they are:
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f185/taryngirl/Disney/024.jpg
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f185/taryngirl/Disney/025.jpg
I couldn't eat all of it because I was full from the onion rings and the milkshake I had.
So:
burger $11.99
chocolate shake 4.29
spinach artichoke dip 6.99
onion rings 6.99
------------------
$32.23 plus tip. We paid this using our Disney rewards cards points we had.

Next up is WPE for dinner. I was so excited to eat here, that we left DHS for our break and headed here before going back for Fantasmic. I had a very difficult time deciding what I wanted here because it all sounds SO GOOD!
We got there at prime dinner time and it was empty, probably because of the buckets of rain that were coming down all afternoon. And the thunder and lightning. There was no line whatsoever.
I went with the chicken caesar salad and a soda.
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f185/taryngirl/Disney/035.jpg
It was sooooooooooooooooooooooo delicious! :worship:
There was chicken in every bite. I am a little bit picky with my caesar dressing, but this was great! And that little crispy bread thing was also very good when eaten in conjunction with the salad.
Dh went with the spicy chicken pizza and a soda.
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f185/taryngirl/Disney/034.jpg
This is one meal where I actually got good comments from him versus just telling me it was good. :lmao: He told me it was "delicious, just hot enough to leave a little burn on the lips...perfect." I also tasted it, and it was DELICIOUS! And I don't really like spicy things. We thought the chicken was going to be seasoned to make it spicy. But it was the red pepper flakes sprinkled on top that gave it the kick. It just tasted so good!
For dessert dh got the creme brulee and I got the chocolate chip cookie.
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f185/taryngirl/Disney/036.jpg
Both were very good.
We loved it so much here that we make a return trip later in the week. I really hope they keep this counter service on the dining plan!

I had read so much about the Tonga Toast at Kona, and the fact that you could get it as a CS credit at Captain Cook's. So we decided to hit breakfast here before our MK day.
It was crazy busy at the checkout, but we had no wait ordering on the touch screens.
DH went with the breakfast platter and I went with the Tonga Toast with sausage. We each got two drinks as well as shown.
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f185/taryngirl/Disney/037.jpg
I LOVED the sausage! It was very tasty. The tonga toast on the other hand...was just okay. It was A LOT of bread. It was very sweet. I could only eat half of it and was stuffed. I tasted dh's bacon and potatoes, and they were both yummy.

I really wanted to eat at Cosmic Ray's because I had heard good things about the chicken and ribs platter. So that is what we got to share since we were going to have an early dinner at Crystal Palace.
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f185/taryngirl/Disney/046.jpg
You can't see the ribs because they are underneath the chicken. Also, I paid for the fries OOP.
This meal was really good for counter service and we were both very impressed! The ribs were great, and much better than the ones we got at ESPN Zone later in the week. I saved the chocolate cake because I was too full, and never ended up eating it.

We attended the Sept. 12th MNSSHP, and I was lucky to grab a 4:50 p.m. ADR for Crystal Palace.
We checked in right on time and waited maybe 15-20 minutes for a table. Now, right before me a guy scored a walk up and was seated almost right away. I was a little annoyed by that. The place was PACKED! All of the outdoor seating was taken.
Anyway, we were led to our table:
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f185/taryngirl/Disney/055.jpg
Here's my dh's first place of salad type things. Don't ask me what they are because I don't think I ate any of it! He loved all of them though.
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f185/taryngirl/Disney/056.jpg
Here's my first plate:
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f185/taryngirl/Disney/057.jpg
Just salad with cheese and dressing, and that DELICIOUS mediterranean pasta salad that I did get more of! I don't even think I ended up eating the roll.
My next plate:
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f185/taryngirl/Disney/058.jpg
Starting at the top left, YUMMY turkey (I got more of this too! It had such a good flavor and was very moist.), DELICIOUS mashed potatoes (:goodvibes more of these too!), some kind of pork that was okay, some kind of curly pasta that I didn't like at all, carrots that were very crunchy so I didn't eat them, some kind of chicken that was just okay, and broccoli that was very good!
Dh's second plate:
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f185/taryngirl/Disney/061.jpg
There were so many desserts to choose from and there was no way I could have even tasted anymore that this!
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f185/taryngirl/Disney/062.jpg
carrot cake that was very good, and chocolate peanut butter cake that was okay. The cookie was disgusting. It was just a sugar cookie but it didn't taste right.
For some reason I didn't get a picture of dh's dessert, but he loved the whiskey cake. It was in a huge bowl and you scooped it out.
Overall, I would definitely eat here for dinner again! Especially if during free dining. :rotfl2: I don't know if dh would pay $28.99 per person to eat ANYWHERE!

That said - we were at MNSSHP on 9/12 also! I kinda wish we'd known there was even a prayer of a walk in for CP ... we ended up at Cosmic Rays (why is there so little food service during parties anyway) - burger counter only <eek>

I was most excited about this ADR because of all the hype and the inability to book it for most people!
We had never eaten here, so I had no idea what to expect besides a good filet!
At the top of the menu they had a special (taken from allears.net) $29.99:
Appetizers (choose 1)
Mixed Field Greens
Canadian Cheddar Cheese Soup
Spicy Chicken and Chipotle Sausage
Entrées (choose 1)
Salmon "BLT"
Grilled Steak Salad
Porcini Mushroom Ravioli
Caesar Salad with Grilled Chicken
Shaved Prime Rib Sandwich on toasted ciabatta
Desserts (choose 1)
Maple Crème Brulee
Canadian Chocolate Moose
Seasonal Sorbet
Dh decided to do this and I was VERY happy because I was going to order the cheese soup anyway.
So for an appetizer, besides the bread they bring to your table (which I forgot to take a photo of), we had the soup and shared it. Oh how I wish I didn't have to share it! It was soooooooooooooo good! Especially with the pretzel bread dipped in it. The pretzel bread was my favorite of the 3 kinds they brought.
Dh had this:
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f185/taryngirl/Disney/097.jpg
Porcini Mushroom Ravioli
It must have been good because he ate ALL of it!
I had this:
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f185/taryngirl/Disney/098.jpg
Mushroom Filet but I swapped out the risotto for cream cheese mashed potatoes which were out of this world! The flavor was so good. Now for all of you on the fence mushroom people, I myself do not eat them! But I gave it a shot and it was great. I think because of the sauce they cook the mushrooms in, they didn't even taste like mushrooms. The steak was so nice and tender and cooked perfectly for me. I ate it ALL, including all of the mushrooms! Minus one piece I let dh try.
Here are our desserts:
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f185/taryngirl/Disney/099.jpg
Dh got the seasonal sorbet, which was mandarin orange. It was good.
I got the new york style cheesecake with the fruit compote. This was also good, especially the strawberry compote! I could have licked this off the plate! (But I didn't)
Overall, this was my favorite meal of the trip, and our waiter Kurt was very good (not to mention nice to look at!). I believe he has gone back to Canada though because his Visa was up. We definitely will be back assuming we can get ADRs.

I just had to go back here again! There were too many things I the menu that I still wanted to try!
This time though, the line was almost out the door. But the wait was really not that long to get up to order.
This time we went with:
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f185/taryngirl/Disney/102.jpg
Rigatoni with chicken alfredo
It was very good. The pasta was al dente, there was lots of chicken. It also came with a side salad and we opted for the caesar. (very good)
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f185/taryngirl/Disney/103.jpg
Meatball and parmesan pizza
It was just okay for me. I didn't really like the meatballs and was kind of disappointed since the spicy chicken pizza had been SO GOOD!
Dessert was a creme brulee for dh and a cookie for me.
I saved my cookie and ended up eating it on the airplane ride home, since USAir now charges $2.00 for a stinkin can of soda and doesn't give a snack!
By this time in the trip, I think all of the rich food was catching up with me. Or maybe it was those meatballs, but I had quite a stomachache and spent some time in te bathroom.

Totally agree with your review of LeCellier. It was by far our best meal of the trip (our 4th time dining here and never a bad meal or service yet). I could make a meal of the soup and the bread but, I too, had the mushroom filet. But, unlike you, I didn't eat the mushrooms--just can't do it...plus I had to have room left for the Chocolate on Chocolate Whiskey Cake. So glad you enjoyed.

I thought it would be nice to make an ADR here so we could watch some Sunday football. So did a hundred other people! We waited probably an hour before we snagged a table in the bar area, and the line for the dining room was about a 2 hour wait.
Anywho...
I had the Ribs with fries.
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f185/taryngirl/Disney/110.jpg
These were good, but not super.
Dh had the Macho Nachos.
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f185/taryngirl/Disney/109.jpg
These were pretty good as well.
We also had a pitcher of Yuengling, and for dessert I had the Rocky Road Chocolate Cake.
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f185/taryngirl/Disney/111.jpg
We only used 1 TS credit here for my meal, and paid the rest OOP.
I think I would only come back here if we were here during football again. It was nice to see a different part of Disney where we never have been.

So next up is Planet Hollywood. I had read some pretty bad reviews, and actually have eaten here in the past. And since we got the $15.00 gift certificiate, I didn't want that to go to waste, so we gave it another whirl. Since today was our day off and our DTD/Pleasure Island night, we decided to have a late dinner there.
Dh had the VIP Platter: Our famous Chicken Crunch, Buffalo Wings, Texas Tostados and Spinach dip (Serves Four) $18.99
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f185/taryngirl/Disney/117.jpg
He had this as his meal, and our waitress reluctantly allowed us to use the $15.00 gift certificate towards this, and we paid the difference OOP. Although this looks tasty, it really wasn't. The only thing that was okay were the Texas tostados. Everything else was REALLY tasteless!
I had the Chicken Fajitas.
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f185/taryngirl/Disney/118.jpg
We used 1 TS credit for my meal.
These were also very tasteless.
And for dessert, we shared the Key Lime Pie.
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f185/taryngirl/Disney/119.jpg
This was way too sweet and I only ate a couple of bites.
Overall, we did not like this meal AT ALL. And in fact, we won't be returning here anytime soon.
It's also super loud, and the servers definitely aren't friendly. Ours was nice enough to let us combine, but she was a little bit snooty.
This was the night that all of the food finally caught up with us, and dh got extremely sick in the middle of the night. So much so, that I had to cancel our ADR at Cape May for breakfast.

Because we cancelled our ADR at Cape May for this morning, we decided to sleep in a little and head to DTD to try Wolfgang Puck Express. We had eaten here twice before on this trip, but really wanted to try breakfast since we loved the food so much.
Dh had the Applewood Smoked Bacon Pizza - scrambled eggs, Niman Ranch Bacon, mozzarella and cheddar cheese and Ranch Dressing $8.95
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f185/taryngirl/Disney/120.jpg
This was REALLY good! But he only ate about half of it because it's so big!
I had the Denver, Denver - peppers, ham, onions, mushrooms, cheddar and mozzarella cheeses $10.95 served with garlic roasted potatoes.
For some reason, I don't have a picture of this. It was good, and the potatoes were excellent! I also ate only about half because it was so much. We probably should have gotten one entree and split it!

I like old reviews being resurrected because i'm too lazy to go but so many pages back:lmao: GREAT REVIEWS! I think Planet Hollywood is probably really struggling but if the food isn't so great 15 dollars isn't going to bring people in! The food in the pic doesn't even look so great to me, but that WPE breakfast *drool*

Just curious..... do you know why was the waitress reluctant to allow you to use the $15 voucher and put the rest on the DP?
I ask because I was thinking about trying Planet Hollywood on our upcoming trip and doing the same thing. That way, the voucher would not go to waste and ds and I would share at another restaurant, as well, to balance out our credits.
DB and his family have tried PH and they said the chicken crunch was very yummy and the VIP platter was just what I was thinking of using the voucher towards!!! If there is a chance they won't take our voucher then I need to rethink this.
Thanks

She said we weren't allowed to do both. She was real hush hush about it too. I wonder though if she acted like she was doing us a favor, maybe she thought she'd get a bigger tip??

We had an ADR here for a lat lunch, and when we walked in, the waiting area was PACKED!!! They were turning away walk ups. We waited maybe 10 minutes for our table.
Also, I had secretly arranged the diver to come down with a Happy Anniversary sign, and the personalized menus. So we were seated right next to the tank!
So we sat down, and I was trying to get the camera ready to capture dh's reaction to the menus. Well he opened it up, and QUICKLY closed it! I couldn't even get a picture! For some reason, he thought that the restaurant somehow got pictures of us and put in the menu to surprise us and he didn't want to ruin it for me...LOL. I had to explain that I had them made for us to surprise him. Here's what they looked like:
Bad pic...sorry

Here he is:

Here's the bread and dipping oil:
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f185/taryngirl/Disney/125.jpg
It was good.
Dh ordered the Grilled Mahi Mahi...topped with Spiced Pineapple Chutney over Cashew-Jasmine Rice finished with Coconut Rum Beurre Blanc.
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f185/taryngirl/Disney/126.jpg
He LOVED this meal! He rated it as his favorite from the whole trip.
I ordered the Grilled NY Strip served with potatoes au gratin and broccolini.
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f185/taryngirl/Disney/127.jpg
It was really good!
For dessert, dh had the Bailey's mousse:
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f185/taryngirl/Disney/130.jpg
He's not a dessert person, but he at this all!
I had the Chocolate Wave:
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f185/taryngirl/Disney/131.jpg
It was SO good!
Here are pictures of the divers with the signs:

Sorry I can't be more descriptive of our reactions to the meals, but I waited way too long to write this report! I keep reading negative reviews about this restaurant, but we thoroughly enjoyed it. We will be back one day!

I had read alot about Beaches and Cream and really wanted to give it a try! So for dinner, we headed over. We didn't have a wait at all and sat at the counter.
Here are some menu pics:

http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f185/taryngirl/Disney/139.jpg
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f185/taryngirl/Disney/140.jpg
Dh ordered the Chicken Caesar Salad.
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f185/taryngirl/Disney/141.jpg
I tasted it, and it was really good! You got a whole chicken breast that was freshly cooked on the grill.
I ordered the Roast Beef Sandwich with fries:
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f185/taryngirl/Disney/142.jpg
I've always thought this looked SO GOOD! But I was a little disappointed. There wasn't that much meat, and I ended up eating it without the roll. It was still okay though.
Shockingly, for dessert, we were allowed to order ANY of the menu items with the dining plan! Including the No Way Jose! So of course, that is what I ordered! Dh ordered the Banana Split.
http://i47.photobucket.com/albums/f185/taryngirl/Disney/148.jpg
These were HUGE and so good! I think I only ate about 10 spoonfuls of mine!

I have to say that I have loved your reviews and can't wait to read more.
However, my question is about your shirts. I am going in December for my honeymoon and have been searching for shirts. I noticed the shirts in your pics and absolutely adore them. How/where did you find them?

Is WPE a CS or TS? Thanks in advance. I ask because it looks yummy.

Hi,
How did you make the reservations to have the personalized menu and also how did you get the diver.???

I don't think they are doing the diver anymore, but I contacted Coral Reef directly about the menus. I emailed some pictures then to someone there.
I have to say that I have loved your reviews and can't wait to read more.

Visit the Disigns section of this message board! All of the designs were made by fabulous people on this board! And then I just printed them out and ironed them on plain t shirts.
