I want to jump for joy! After fretting for a couple of weeks and lots of reading these boards, I cancelled my HRH resssies and US/IOA tix and reserved ASMu and resort magic package with Expedia. I wasn't sure if I could and I finally got this great person helping me and she did it all without any fees. Several times I called and the person would tell me it would cost $450 to cancell and rebook a Disney hotel package. This lady did not. She got a supervisor and everything was taken care of. I have a 5 year old DD and I was afraid that US would be a little too scary(sp?) for her. We went to WDW last May when she was 4 and her favorite park seemed to be Epcot. We intend to see the whole park this time. ( we only went 1/2 day because we thought she wouldn't like it!)

I hear the Jazz bldg is the best. We will enjoy any of them. Hey, we're staying onsite!!!!! :p ;) :p :) ;) :p :D

I think you did the right thing...IoA doesn't have much except Suess Island and a couple of other rides for little ones (I'm sure at age 5 she doesn't consider herself little!).

After watching a "just too short" little one wail on her mother and overturn her stroller after being told she couldn't go on Space Mountain...I have vowed that my nieces won't take a trip with us to WDW until they are both tall enough for everything - the oldest now is but is a little hesitant to ride the big rides and the younger one is bold but still too short.

It's also nice to hear something great about Expedia's customer service.

enjoy your trip,
LA

Good for you! We stayed @ASMo last year and will be staying @ASMu this 11/10-11/16. We loved it. It's the best themed resort for children (IMHO). We loved CR, but AS is such a good value, we'll go there from now on. The Food Court and transportation are excellent. Have a wonderful trip!!!

I think you made a good choice. When we took my 3 yr old niece, we spent 1 day at IOA and were dissappointed with the limited amount of things she could do.
