Sounds good, shame you can't get to Universal - my favourite parks apart from Magic Kingdom - but looks like you have everything covered. :)
Let us know what you think of AKL on your return Andy.

Hoping & praying for the upgrade
I rang the AKL last night and asked what room i had been allocated and they said it was a standard room.
Oh well no upgrade for me.
They did say i could pay for an upgrade. $70 per night per room.
$70 x 14nth x 2 room = $1960
Or £1060 in proper money.
Oh well that was the gamble i took.
But i would rather have the £1060 extra to spend while there.
I don't want to be a misery but just to let you know that some of the tours at Kennedy do not run for sometime prior and after launches check with Kennedy I think it's the Up Close Tour. The ticket sellers usually are unaware according to Kennedy that they do this.
Anyway looks like your organised and ready :cool1:

Hi Andy
Thanks for replying on my other post... Just came across and saw your thread and had to reply...
Firstly, you'll have to give us all the low down on how you found the AKL! I'll be popcorn:: in anticipation...
Your trip sounds excellent and a lot of what we'll hopefully pack into our trip in a years time. We're also holding out for a Savannah upgrade (when I phoned I pointed out it would be our first trip to WDW so hoping they'll give us some extra special pixie dust!) Like you we can't really justify the upgrade price but I've tried REALLY hard... who knows, a lottery win in the meantime might make me stump up the cash :rotfl2:
We're hoping to squeeze in a couple of trips to Seaworld and US/IOA (just for the Simpsons ride mainly... we adore the programme!).
I LOVE the Pal Mickey idea! We were just going to buy one out there for our DD who will be 4 but the idea of her arriving to one in our room from the Mouse himself is ACE! How did you arrange this beforehand? Concierge or CRO? I'm sure your DS will be over the moon! Was the photopass organised that way too...?
Anyway, enough hijacking for me with your thread. Have a truly magical time and we'll look forward to all the juicy details on your return...;) :rolleyes1

All sounds great and well organised! Just time to get a few more $$ while the rate is on the up:thumbsup2
What is a photo pass CD though? my last trip was 2004, going in 2009. Is this a new thing?

We are just going to wait until we get there to see if we are lucky (not expecting anything though :))I agree, I would rather use the extra as spending money. I'm sure you will all have a fantastic time any-way

We just rang the AKL about a week or so ago. And asked them.
They transfered us to the Walt Disney Florist, who is sorting it all out.
www.disneyflorist.com (got website details when my MNSSH party tickets)
I found out about the photpass from the DISboards
http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1529574
But this is the direct link
http://www.disneyphotopass.com/previsitcdplan.aspx
Have also got my GOLD Nationwide Credit card sorted so that i get the good rate while i am there. (Will have to keep checking the rate while there as i will use the KTTW card while in disney and if the rate starts to drop i will pay the balance then and there LOL)
And about to pop into town now to get a few hundred dollars for actual currency.
As it now only 9 days to go Single digit day dance time
