I know that various companies including Virgin offer a breakfast with limo trip. Thinking about arranging a limo to take my son from CSR to HDDR for his birthday treat. On the 'USA' site for transport this seems to be a strange suggestion. :confused3 Any other Brits done this please? :goodvibes If so who did you use.

Thanks

I'm struggling with HDDR - give me a clue! In any event, Mears is the official taxi company onsite. You can easily book a limo from your hotel, either by asking concierge or valet, or by calling direct: Mears Town Cars & Limousines: 407-423-5566.

Thank you so much for the advice (hoop de doo revue - sorry!!) I would love to arrange this night as a surprise for DS - he will be in the middle of his SATS year and he is the kind of child who never asks for anything (as opposed to his younger sister who has a list of 'must-dos' for our trip.)

Very grateful for your help.

perhaps people reacted strangely, because the HDDR is inside Fort Wilderness and not all that accessible to a limo.....

normally we get there by taking disney transport to the magic kingdom and then taking the boat to fort wilderness.....the HDDR isn't far from where the boat comes in....

at least from what i remember....

it's located deep inside the campground..

i don't know if they'd even let the limo drive inside....i don't recall how far away the parking lot is....i just remember walking when i've driven there...

it would be kind of strange in my view to ride in a limo in the middle of a camping site...

more fun would be a limo to the grand floridian.....or something like that....

Thanks for the heads up, I keep reading how difficult it is to reach HDDR from another resort but I hadn't realised that was the reason. I think I will hold on to the limo idea but maybe change it for a night we have an ADR elsewhere and take the boat as you have recommended. Thanks again.

with the HDDR you have to get a taxi to the frount where the busses pick up,then take an internal bus to the reveue

or you can take the Fort Wilderness boat from the magic kingdom and then it's just a short walk to where the HDDR is...

I dont think it would work with HDDR but you could use it for a ride to/from the airport or something instead?

There are quite a lot of companies around, we have used FL Tours in the past and they were really good. This year we were looking for something a bit special and look like we are going to use limocar orlando. Someone on the transportation board recommended them after a trip earlier this year.

Not sure what the prices are but Leah (in their office) has been really helpful with all my questions! :goodvibes
