Tipping for Room Service?

Hi:

When you order room service, can you apply a tip to your account, or do you have to give them cash? We will be bringing USD but here in Canada when you get them from the bank, they never have $1.00 bills. I figure I will probably need 50 of these.

You'll only get a charge slip to sign for room service if you order a drink that isn't free (soda, etc.). Otherwise, they just drop it off and we tipped cash.

Don't worry about the 1's... just take a couple of $20 and exchange them at guest services for $1's... they should be able to break larger bills for you.

If you can get a hold of some $2.00 dollar bills they really make a gret impression when given out as tips.
