Hi everyone ,hope you can help.

Is any one going to MNSSHP (10 Oct) and dressing up, my wife wants the kids to get into their costumes for the night ,

Daughter 8 - Minnie Mouse outfit
Son 4 - Frankenstein ............:scared1

We have never been to one of these special events and i would like to have some idea if dressing the kids up is the done thing.

I always dress up DD when we go DLP, you will see lots of children dressing up, esp for the MNNSHP and the big Halloween party on the 31st.

I go on Monday and DD has her Belle and Tinkerbell dresses packed for the park.

My girls dressed up. My oldest was Minnie, the 9 year old cinderella, 5 year old was sleeping beauty. Both younger children got hot and itchy! We changed them back to regular clothes halfway through. Many children do dress up but I would suggest that the costume be cool (we are from Pittsburgh so many costumes sold here are for cold weather) and that you allow the children to change if they'd like. The adults and some of the kids in our party wore Mickey Mouse Club Tee shirts and it was fun and comfortable. I bought the shirts on zazzle.com. If you think your kids would feel left out if about 1/2 of the park is dressed up I would bring something even if it is only a hat. http://i435.photobucket.com/albums/qq79/cesariofamily/DisneySept2008489.jpg
