Yak and Yeti, Kona (breakfast), Tony's (lunch), Narcoossee's, San Angel Inn (lunch), and LTT (dinner). Pretty good considering it was a last minute surprise trip and we didn't have much to choose from. Anyone want to know anything?

How was Narcoosee's? Is it worth the extra TC on the DDP?

Did you eat at LTT the night of a MNSSHP?? Either way, do you remember how long your entire dining experience took there????

We didn't use the DDP, but we had a fabulous meal there! I don't eat seafood, but that wasn't a problem. DH got the crab cake appetizer and I had the heirloom tomato salad. DH like that the crab cakes were baked, not fried and there was plenty of lump crab meat. He said it was the best crab cakes he ever had. The tomato salad was delicious. The aged balasamic was incredible.

For entrees DH had the scallops with the corn and crab risotto. He loved every bite of it and said he would've licked the plate clean if he could have. I tried the risotto (non crab part) and it was delicious. I had the filet mignon with the gratin potatoes. It was cooked perfectly and nice and tender. I got the sauce on the side and was glad I did as the steak was seasoned so perfectly, it didn't need the sauce.

For dessert we split the gelato sampler. Delicious. We will definitely be returning there! Since it was our anniversary, they printed Happy Anniversary with our names on the menu and let us keep it as well. Our wonderful server also gave us complimentary champagne.

Kona breakfast was incredible! DH had the tonga toast and I had the mac nut pancakes. Both were delicious! DH preferred the toast without the strawberry sauce, as he thought the sauce took away from the rest of the flavor. My pancakes were full of mac nuts! The mac nut butter was delicious too! It was so much food though we couldn't finish it all. We also got a glass of lilikoi juice and the pressed pot of 100% kona coffee. We didn't finish the pot, so our waitress brought us a to go cup. Our waitress was very nice and brought everything out at nice intervals. DH can't wait to go back in December! It wasn't busy at all either (free dining). We were the first ones seated and we were the only people on the left hand side of the restaurant.

We didn't do it the night of MNSSHP but we did dine on a Saturday when they were completely booked. Our ADR was for 8:00pm. We were seated around 8:10pm. Our server was not the best, a little slow, but we left about 9:10pm. In his defense, he was constantly running around. We do wish we had the server the table next to us had. We did request that he bring the main course right after we got the salad since we were starving and we got it after a couple of minutes. Overall, about an hour of actual dining time.

Yes I would love to hear about San Angel Inn, my husband really wants to eat there, but we haven't heard many good things in the past, but we love mexican food- what did you think? Good food, worth it?

DH had always wanted to eat here as well, so this trip we finally did. They bring tortilla chips and salsa (a little spicy) in the beginning. We ordered 3 things and split everything. We got the empanada appetizer, the steak entree and the mexican rice. The empanadas were the best part of the meal! The filling was delicious and the actual dough was a nice consistency. The steak was cooked per our request and nicely seasoned. We did not like the tortillas in the tomatilla (sp?) sauce. That could be just us though. The rice was also really tasty as well. The atmosphere was lovely and our server did well enough (she was new and getting accustomed to everything). We would definitely return, but there are other WS restaurants that we'd go to first.

An hour isn't too bad :) I know the last time we ate there, (May of 2006) it took a long time to be seated. Did the characters have costumes on even tho it wasn't a party night??

I wrote a review above this post but to touch on your other questions...I'm not a Mexican food eater and I enjoyed it there. There was plenty I'd eat. Since I'm not a Mexican food eater I can't really say how it ranks, but we enjoyed everything and thought everything was good and certainly tasty. We would definitely return based on this experience (our only, lol).

My DD and her friend ate at SanAngel for lunch this summer. We usually go for the Tex-Mex kind of food but they knew that this would be different....

DD and friend had the Mexican Plato and stated it was good except for the enchilada- DD says "chicken was nasty" but other than the enchilada it was :thumbsup2 She said the chips and salsa were good. And when I asked if she would eat there again ........

She stated that she would go there and eat again, but no enchilada this time......

Unfortunately I didnt not get to sample this one...... I was forced to SUFFER with Garden Grill lunch with the youngest DD...... characters good/food YUCK!

They had their standard LTT costumes. Minnie in her colonial dress, Pluto had a red, white and blue scarf, Goofy in his colonial costume, and Chip and Dale had scarves and aprons on. We actually go to see all of the characters twice, which was nice. We've had times where we waited a while to be seated, but this past time it was only 10 minutes, which we felt was pretty good based on previous experiences. We checked in 10 minutes early.

Thanks! The pressed pot coffee and mac nut pancakes sound really delish:thumbsup2 Maybe we'll order the stawberry sauce on the side. Glad you had a great breakfast:) We can't wait.

DH didn't ask for the sauce on the side, it just came that way so you could add it as you'd like, like syrup. It worked out well. Enjoy it!

This was another place we order a bunch of stuff and had them bring two plates to just split everything (we couldn't decide what to order). We ordered the pork potstickers, pork egg rolls (side order, not appetizer, we got 2 egg rolls), the wonton soup, and the crispy honey chicken with brown rice. Everything was delicious! We loved it! It was much better than what we can get at local chinese food places (except PF Chang's). I did find the soy sauce to be a little on the salty side, so be careful if you like adding that on your food. They did have light soy sauce on the table as well though. The crispy honey chicken was crispy, not soggy and had nice flavor. The wonton soup had 4 nice sized wonton's and the eggs rolls were great! Pot stickers were our favorite. We had the sorbet sampler for dessert which was delicious as well. Very refreshing and nice flavors! Good service, good food, returning in December!

We ate at Yak & Yeti on our trip which we just returned from. It was our 2nd favorite meal of the trip (after LeCellier). I have a review on 25th anniversary dinner reviews.

TC - Table Credit. Most are only 1 credit, but Narcoossees is a signature restaurant and therefore requires 2 TC credits.

No problem! We like making regular entrees "family style" for us every once in a while. Especially when there's so much we like to choose from!

For us personally, we really enjoy Tony's and go every trip. Never had a bad meal there. Keep in mind we hate Olive Garden and Carrabbas. LoL. For lunch we both had the Panini of the Day (grilled chicken, mozzarella cheese, bacon and a sundried tomato marinade) that came with parmesan crusted potato chips. It was delicious! The chicken was moist and the flavors together were great. The chips were a nice side. We had the fresh mozzarella appetizer which was great and we also got the ice cream bomb for dessert (like tartufo minus the nuts and cherry in the center). Everything was great! We'll be returning there for lunch in December.
