Waking up to a beautiful morning. Cold but the sun is glistening of the autumn leaves. Computer says 39 degrees. I'll bring out the sweat pants and winter coat for the game this morning. Brrrr.

Greg, your family needs to watch HSM 1 & 2. I'm pretty sure that HSM3 will be showing on the ship and they will have stuff going on for High School Musical. Disney Channel this next week will be running Sing-a-long versions of it.

Can't wait to bask in the sun around the pool, go to Downtown Disney a little bit before dinner at the Rain Forest Cafe where we have ressies at 5. I want to leave from there to the monorail resorts to see the decorations and MK's fireworks! Friday we'll take it a little slow so we can enjoy the resort before going back to Downtown Disney to meet Wendy and Christine and family to eat at the T-Rex restaurant at 11. We'll aim for the Radisson about 5 p.m. :woohoo: So excited just talking about it!

I finally paid the $$ and got the boys signed up for this cruise.

And I have to be honest. I almost bailed on it....

I was thinking of switching to January 2010 because that is a better time of year for us to be gone. But when I priced it it was going to be $500 more.:scared1:

And THEN I priced a 8 day Carnival cruise for January 2010 that would be $1000 cheaper than this one... and it goes to Panama and Costa Rica which are both places we have never been. And was really tempted. Because it's on a brand new ship even.

BUT... with the age our kids are at... Disney just make so much more sense. So I'm hanging tight. Now I just have to pay the rest of it off. I don't know if we'll be able to afford another Disney cruise after this one though!

I don't like to travel during the summer because of the pool. Everytime I leave it for more than a few days I have problems with algae the rest of the summer. I need to go before I open it or close it early. As best I can figure it was made in 1989 so the circulating technology is not what it is today--if we swim in it every day, I have no problems. :confused3

We love Marriott's Ko Olina resort which will be right next door to the new Disney resort, but we can stay at the marriott for free. :thumbsup2

We're getting really excited for this vacation to. We arrive at the Orlando airport about 4:30pm Thanksgiving Day and then we'll drive to Horizon's by Marriott next to SeaWorld where we'll stay until Saturday morning.

Horizon's has an awesome pool and spray park for kids.

I went to the web site and then clicked on sip ahh and then there is alocator to see if they sell it near you.
Plus there is alink to buy it on line but it was more expensive than I paid.

I noticed they also had banana flavor.

If you look in a store I usually find them in some obscure place like the end of the isle, sometimes near the milk or cookies or candy.
I have also found them near the magazines and gum by the check out counter. So you may need to ask for them.


It listed Albertsons for carrying them too but you probably dont have Albertsons there.

well my new neighbor must be staying for awhile. They just delivered him a picnic table. Like hes really gonna use it in the winter.

Plus he has 2 big beautiful dogs. both males. One is a light golden color like pixie the other is a rusty brown color. Very nice looking dogs. Lots of warm fur, dont know what kind they are.

My girls may have a new boyfriend to play with:love:

We're getting really excited for this vacation to. We arrive at the Orlando airport about 4:30pm Thanksgiving Day and then we'll drive to Horizon's by Marriott next to SeaWorld where we'll stay until Saturday morning.

Horizon's has an awesome pool and spray park for kids.

Friday we have reservation for Discovery Cove, so we'll be there from about 8:30am until 6pm. With our reservation to Discover Cove they gave us tickets to SeaWorld that are good for 14 consecutive days.

We're going to have one wild ride when we get back from the cruise....we have 7 day park hopper tickets for WDW and 7 day tickets to Universal Orlando & Islands of Adventure plus 14 day tickets to SeaWorld! :eek: :eek:

The Rolls Royce limo we hired is suppose to pick us up at 9:30am Saturday morning to take us to the ship! :cool1:

Took longer than we planned, but it always works that way for us.

On friday we will be hooked up to directv, so I will have more that 4 or 5 stations and only 2 come in good. I am so looking forward to watching the cooking network again, especially when the weather gets really bad and cold and we have to stay in a lot.
Best part they had a good sign up deal, so everything was free accept our regular payment.
With an RV you usually have to buy a special outside dish on a tripod but its all free.:yay: :yay:

Cold and quiet here today.
Got a lazy start this morning, but the laundry is finally started and after breakfast I will get busy cleaning and I need to go get soem milk. But I can get that right here at the gas station.


Well Greg booked us for 9/18/2010 transatlantic cruise today:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: .
We have never done along one before. Now to worry about paying for it:scared1:
we are going to use tax returns for most of it.
Plus I will do as I always have done.
save all our change, ones and 5 dollar bills.:thumbsup2

Plus i use our disney chase card to build points. I use it for everything , but each time I use it, I set the money aside for the bill so when it comes each month I pay it off 100%, It is amazing how many points you can get in a couple of years.

we will fly to Barbadoes and cruise back to Florida, then fly back to Oregon unless we are lucky enough to be moved back by then.
I hate to fly, but I am willing to do it for this cruise. we have 4 new ports, 6 ports in all, I believe.
He just surprized me with this last night, so I havnt had time for it to sink in yet.

Of course this all depends if he can keep working during this terrible economy.
But we are going to give it a shot!!
They just opened it up on the 14th and already all but about 15th of the cheape rooms are gone. So we had to book a guarateee room, but in a year she said to check back as people cancel and we can probably pick a room where we want. everyone books now, then many have to cancel later.

I looked into getting the Disney Visa, but where we don't do Disney very often I opted to get a rewards card through Discover.

Like you, we use our card for everything and then pay the balance off each month and its amazing how fast the savings add up. So far we've earned enough rewards to pay for our airfare and our cabin upgrade to verandah!!:thumbsup2

Wow that sounds neat...and if anything like in 2007 the price should drop...we looked at booking the May sailing in 07 and it was only $2300 for the 4 of us...but even though Alicia would have turned 3 right before the cruise she wasn't 100% potty trained so we decided against it and booked the nanacruise instead.

You can book now then cancel and rebook on board the ship to get the OBC for the cruise.

everything is 100% refundable up to 6 months prior so we have plenty of time for paying for it.

Greg just a tip we found out last year while flying to Orlando...while at the airport in Toronto we met our mayor(small world since that is half way across the country) we ended up spending 8 hours with his family who were on there way to WDW. They gave our girls candy rings for the airplane landing...it help with their ears alot.

I was just looking at software that came with Kierra's Disney camera that she got for her birthday...it would make very easy but really neat door magnets...there are many different backgrounds in it. I would be more then happy to make you something if you are having trouble finding anything:thumbsup2 I had alot of trouble finding stuff last year but wow this software is pretty neat:goodvibes and should only take me a few minutes...

Easy fix! Print your photo or sign on regular photo paper. Slip it in a document protector, and slide the magnet sheet in behind it. You can have a new sign every day, if you want!

Greg just a tip we found out last year while flying to Orlando...while at the airport in Toronto we met our mayor(small world since that is half way across the country) we ended up spending 8 hours with his family who were on there way to WDW. They gave our girls candy rings for the airplane landing...it help with their ears alot.

Well it sounds like our disney trip in 09 may be the last for a while talking about trying to settle down and think about kids after that so will need to make it extra special.

My sister in law is over now and she is expecting her first baby and suprised everyone with that which was great.

The camera was $50 on clearance here...I bought it just after Christmas...it doesn't take great pictures...but she loves it. The software is great though.

I decided to take her to take her out of school and get her headaches check out at the ER of the children's hosiptal. When we checked in her temperature was 91.4(106.5):scared1: They feel she has an infection and ran all kinds of test...she will be getting another MRI early tomorrow morning.

I got Kierra a camera for her birthday and it came with software called Disney Pix 2. It is very easy to use...it gives you many different backgrounds and picture frames to use. I already had some of my castaway pictures in the program so I was able to use them along with the Disney Picture frames...very simple. It would make for a very nice digital scrap book.

They don't feel it's an ear infection, water infection or strep...he seemed concerned the temp may be a side effect to her headaches and there may be some type of infection:sad2:

me too...but her headaches came everyday sometimes twice a day for 10 days before she got a temp:confused3 At this point I hope the two are not related...

Hopefully you can get that fever down quickly.

I use to use alcohol and water mix on a wash rag to wash them down to help plus a cool cloth on the back of the neck and forehead and wrists.
It always worked but can take a bit of time. 30 minute for a good result.

Well I had a lot of trouble breaking her temp last night it took almost three hours...we got up extra early and went to the children's hospital but the dr. at the MRI thought Kierra stayed in last night and schedule her in for a MRI this afternoon...so now we have to go back I was told to take her back to the ER afterwards until they find out what type of infection she has.

Dawn they didn't give her any med's for the infection as they want to rule out and infection on her brain...

well it was very foggy again today. They say it was freezing on the road in alot of places:eek:
suppose to be sunny this afternoon.Lat night Pixie went into the bedroom and ate a section ofour comforter:confused3 Plus some of the stuffing. So now this morning she is having trouble GOING.:sad2: I hope she can go on her own, i really dont need a vet bill right now.
I may call and see if theres something I can give her to help her go.

Plus the fan in our furnace is making horrible noises, so Greg got the number andis going to try and buy it, probably have to order the part, so all I have is my little electric heater, ans my new computer is screwed up?
It turns on, you click in the internet and it says connecting but thats all it would do.
Greg worked iwth it and eventually got a page to come on but it was slower than dial up. we did a degraf which went all night and a few hours last night and still didnt finish, so it obviously wasnt working right
when you can get it to work it will take 10 minutes to load apage, if it loads at all.

He is taking it back but doesnt expect them to do anything for it. If not I will ask my son to have a crack at it. He builds computers and has 2 degrees in them and a bunch of certificates but I dont know if he knows much about laptops.

with the mood Greg was in when he left here I wouldnt want to be the person who helps him at circuit city if they cant fix it for free. he had words with management there over our warranty last time:scared1: Plus greg has a nasty cold and isnt feeling well to start with.
He left me his laptop to work with today which was nice, but if I dont post accept early and late the next few days it means he had to use his computer and mine isnt fixed.

We just rode through and looked at all of the colors. It was peak season for the changes, so all of the leaves were really pretty. From where we live, we can be at the Blue Ridge Parkway in less than an hour. We did stop at a few shops and found a good place for supper. We have a friend who has been really ill with some heart problems, so we took him and his wife with us. I think it did them some good to get our for a while.

Yes, I'm slow on selling them right now...which is alright by me because I'm catching up and making them ahead for Thanksgiving while I'm gone! It goes in spurts...can't keep up to none! :confused3 Especially holidays are a BIG turn around. I'm trying to be ready for it.

We hadn't...if the dollar was par we decided we were going to spend the extra money and go on the Nana cruise but right now there is just no way...so if this stays this way and we cruise it will be the Halloween cruise...just too good of a rate to pass on especially with a low $$...
