Excursions the only option ?

Just booked 7 day western for next year and was wondering what there was to do in the different ports besides the excursions. Any ideas ? Input ?

Key West - Conk Train, and then walk up and down Duvall, lots of shops and famous bars.

Grand Caymen - snorkeling and Stingray City, Atlantis Submarine (this is available in Cozumel too)

Cozumel - Channakaab Park (not sure i spelled that right)

Castaway Cay - snorkeling

these are my favorite places, but then i am so hooked on snorkeling that i base all my stuff around that activity if i can....

If you want to see Stingray City in Grand Cayman without hundreds of other people, use Captain Marvin's. He has a website, www.captainmarvin.com [I think or something close.]
It was wonderful, there were maybe 15 people on his boat. We snorkled over some beautiful reefs and then went on to Stingray City. I had tried snorkling for the first time a few days before without much success, seawater got in everywhere. With the crew's help, I was able to do it! We had one adult nonswimmer and she did ok with a life preserver on. I highly recommend them. Cheaper and more personal than the ship's excursion there.
