Friday 8th August
woke up at 6.30am, decided to leave Gary & Leanne in bed & went off to refil my mug! bumped into dad & we had a walk around the lake with our drinks, it was lovely & its a memory i think i will cherish :)
Had breakfast at POP i had the omlette it was nice.
We headed straight to Soarin, just a good as i remembered :) Got a fast pass to go back later.
then we went to test track - now i never have any luck with this ride i always end up in a very looong, boring que! qued outside for about 5-10mins, as we got to the door to que inside the ride broke down - there was a car on the track stuck right above us!! but we stuck it out!
the wait time was 30 mins when we got in the que but then it went up to 40 mins (sigh) THEN we had been queing indoors about 5 mins when they announce that the there is a strom coming & the ride may have to be stopped BUT we still stuck it out!
We got to the area just outside the doors that take you into the room with the little show when - guess what....the rain came & they decided to stop the ride!!!
So we decided there was no point going outside into the rain so we ''camped'' out on the floor with the other people who thought the same!
We had now been queing in total 1hr & 10 mins, (have you ever noticed that annoying constant machine noise in that place - try listening to it for that long!!
We did have some funny video footage of us all sat on the floor!
EVENTUALLY the rain stopped & the kind CM's decided to not put us through the pre-ride show & let us straight through...into another que ;)
We finally got on the ride :dance3:
& enjoyed this as much as last time too!
When we got off it left us about 5 mins to get to La Cellier for our ADR, Leanne decided she wasnt bothered so she went back to the pool with grandma & grandad & Gary & I ''jogged' to Canada
I couldnt believe how small this restaurant was!!
We ordered the chedder cheese soup to start. It had been recommended by Dis members & well deserved too..it was delish:cloud9: Funny the 2 highlights food wise was soup!! this one & the onion soup in France!
Gary had a burger for his main (cant remember what i had but i know i enjoyed it!) Garys burger was HUGE

i wasnt the slightest bit hungry for dessert but the dis had recommended the chocolate 'moose'' i told the waiter i would order one just to look at :lmao:
of course i ate it ;)

We headed back to POP to get ready for MK EMH's too tired & full to use our fast passes for soarin :(
Left at 9pm for MK i was determined to watch wishes in a better spot - i particularly wanted to see it further back down mainstreet.
Oue bus driver was brilliant - his name was Angel & to be honest he was the only really friendly bus driver we had the whole trip. I remember last time we went they all were so friendly but not the case this trip :( the same could be said for some other staff!!
Still the magic is to strong in me to let it bother me that much! ;)
ok i kinda cheated on dads dream giving episode - or should i say a CM did...
as we were getting our wrist bands my dad said ''i've always wanted one of these'' to which the CM replied ''see dreams do come true'' :rotfl:
As we entered spectro was just ending & we got an amazing spot to watch wishes & it turned out to be my fav spot in the MK :)
so much so that i cant bring myself to say where it was, but you'll proberbly guess from the pics ;)

i sat with mum & we held hands while we watched my fav firework show - another memory to cherish :)
We stayed in the same spot & watched the 2nd showing of spectro too :)

Thunder mountain was great in the dark :)
did haunted mansion - i liked the new bits they'd added
& philomonic which i absoultly LOVE :love: especially when Ariel appears - i could watch it over & over!
We left at 1am tired & happy
Next time.. Tepan Edo :cloud9: & my 1st visit to the Boardwalk area :)
