Shades Of Green/contemporary Rooms

I have ressies for early December at Contemporary through Shades of Green (SOG is using Contemporary's North Garden Wing while SOG is being remodeled). Can anyone recommend a particular floor/room in the North Garden Wing at a standard room rate? We are two adults, no kids. How long a walk is it to the monorail from the North Garden Room Wing? Any hints/tips would be greatly appreciated. Gettin' excited about our forthcoming trip.

For $10 more a night you can get first floor bay-side. This is equivalent to the pool side rooms at SoG. I will be going in 8 days and will check it out!!

Thanks, Suevee. The SOG/Contemporary room is my 2-night splurge since I'm on a very limited budget. The rest of the time we'll be at All Stars. Soooo, probably won't want to spend the extra bucks for the bay-side room. But would be interested in hearing from you on other good rooms, if you have a chance to check them out. We haven't stayed at SOG before, so am not familiar with pool-side rooms.
Please post a note on the Resort page when you return (how long will you be gone?). Or, I will send you my email address, if that is something that can be safely done on these boards.

I will only be there 2 days. It is an unexpected B'day trip for DGD. Her mother is stationed in Tampa and this just worked out. I will post, but don't know how much time I will have to investigate. We are going back next Feb for a 10 day trip.
