I have purchased the Stay and Scream Pass. I have a very short timeframe at USF. I am debating about hanging around from 5-6:30 pm in the holding area vs. leaving and coming back to U.S. at 6:45-7:00 pm. I did purchase the Express Pass for Sunday, October 12th. Wonder how busy the park be. I'm debating about leaving at 5 pm vs. hanging around until 6:30 pm -- your advise and words of wisdom are appreciated here! Also, I'm assuming I can leave the park (as I did purchase park passes and return when I wish with the Stay and Scream Pass, correct)?

Thank you,
m

Thank you,
mIf you purchased the S & S upgrade ticket, I would recommend staying in the holding area instead of waiting in the mob out front. But...as long as you have a valid HHN ticket, you can leave and come back if you prefer. Sundays are still busy just not as nuts as Friday and Saturday nights.

Waiting in the holding area will give you a head jump on touring the houses. You can usually get to 3 or 4 without large crowds. Have you purchased express passes? If you have, then you don't need to do the Stay and Scream option, although doing so will allow you to save the express pass for some houses later if you decide to revisit them. If you haven't purchased an express pass, then I strongly encourage you to use the Stay and Scream option. Over the past several years, Sunday HHN crowds have been increasing according to what I've heard.

We went a couple years ago and used the Stay and Scream option on a Sunday. We did the first four houses between 60 and 90 minutes (used Express Pass on the third house as the crowds were starting to catch up). We caught the first showing of Bill and Ted's. We used Express Passes on the remaining houses and were done by 10:30pm. We would have stayed later and redone the houses that we still had express passes to, but we had other party members waiting for us at Citywalk.

The nice thing about S & S is you can knock out a few houses before the lines even make it to the back of the park. Then...you go back and do the houses again with the Express.

HHN crowds are INSANE just about every night. At around 8pm is when they really start to get crazy.I always stay at the S&S area with express passes or not.

Does anyone know if the S&S passes and Express passes for Halloween go down in price?

I'll be going (with four others) on October 31 and we plan to buy the Express anyway but don't want to miss out on the HHN tickets. How soon do you think they will sell out for that date? I know they often do in advance.

Thanks.

to the op, i totally agree with all the posters here.

this is my 10th HHN.

i too, am going on sunday when you are.

i bought my epp when they first came out for the nights i will be attending.

Sundays, for the last 3 years, have become crowded like a peak night.

it used to be that you could do a lot on a sunday without buying the epp.

when lines for houses reach 90 minutes or more on a sunday night, you will be very very glad you bought the epp.

i'm in agreement with the group here in saying, stay and scream will give you a head start on the event.

no crowds for that time period you are allowed to start your adventure without congo lines in the houses.
you can take your time and see more around you.

hhn is more than just houses and sz. you can see the details given throughout the park for hhn.

it will be light out if you do the houses at first, but you can repeat them later in the evening with your epp.
some prefer to do houses only when it is dark but you do get more visual effects when doing a few houses while it is still light outside.
