When can I decide on DDP

I don't think I want the plan. We are staying at the POP. What if I decide to get it later.Like after a day or too there. Will I be charged per night still or the nights I have left?

You can NOT add the Dining Plan once or after you arrive. It needs to be added at least 72 hours before your arrival, and if you have a room-only reservation you will need to change that to a package including tickets (unless you have an Annual Pass, which is a different package); so if you already HAVE your tickets, you would have to purchase at least a one-day base MYW pass as part of that change, to make your reservation a qualifying package.

The previous poster is correct - the dining plan must be added to a package reservation before arrival and included for the length of the stay.

Thanks I am trying to figure out if it is worth it. We are planning on 3 character meals. We will be there 6 nights. My DD 13 eats less than my DS 5 I just can't see paying that much for her.

Wait....I'm thinking of adding DDP to my reservation in December. Because of the holiday surcharge it works out best for us. But we already have a package....will we also need to buy more tickets just to add the plan??? Ooops, I read the post again and answered my own question...got scared for a minute

Keep in mind that you will have to pay adult prices for your DD at any buffets.
