I did . My daughters surprise me an cleaned out my flower beds while I was working on Friday and also brought me 2 rose bushes, got a really cute picture of Landen, and Hubby toook me out to breakfast, and we had a picnic dinner at Corri, :yay:.

How do you do the "tinkerbell gifts" are they there when you return from the park as a reward for good behavior, or in the morning? Looking for ideas, i was going to try to do according to the park we where in.

I hope that everyone had a great weekend mine was good.
We had our yard sale on Saturday:thumbsup2We did Pretty good:)
We made $125:yay::banana::cool1: pretty good for selling lots of things at .50 an $1.00, and it rained quite a bit to.
We going to use the money to buy things for our trip like pins to trade and some surprises:thumbsup2 We are going to take some of the left overs to a Flea market on Memorial Day.



Last Thurday my daughter (Corri) lost her job:sad2: ,She will get paid for another month, and is applying for uunemployment. We have talk alot about this, my hubby and I feel that this might be a good thing for her, she has had to work since the baby was born and to be able to stay at home with him Would be a good thing . Also, I have not told you all this yet, but she has been seperated from her husband for 6 months. He was not helping her at all, not emontionally, or money wise, and other stuff. We are a family who take care of each other thur good and bad and believe that things happpen for a reason. SOO at this time we really need some PIXIE DUSTpixiedust:pixiedust: and a trip to the
Happiest Place in the World::MickeyMo::MinnieMo would be the right medcine:):thumbsup2

I'm so sorry to hear about Corri. That's terrible. Hopefully it will all work out for the best for everyone involved. That's all you can pray for. Sometimes on the budget board they will have threads about work from home jobs if she's interested in that type of thing to work around her being at home.

I would check out the Creative DISigns board here on the DIS and see if anyone can make you little notes from Tink (or Mickey or whoever) for your little gift bags once you've got them together. I'm sure if you provided the details, they could come up with something cute. If I still had my computer, I would so do it for you but I'm computerless at the moment. :sad1:

As for "adult" Tink gifts, you could do Disney dollars (get them on like your first day), Disney gift cards, something for the trip she'd want but wouldn't buy herself (new sneakers, socks, hat, whatever she's into). The Hallmark store here also has some very cute Disney stuff - albums and magnets and stuff like that. They're Hallmark products so you can probably get them at any of the stores.

When Tink leaves your gifts is up to you. She could stop by while Landen's in the tub, when you come back to your room, when you wake up in the morning, whatever works into her schedule. :thumbsup2 If you're taking a bag to the park, she could always leave something in there too as a surprise.

Like your ADRs. I've got to figure out ours for our Sept trip. I'll probably hold off on getting a Disney birthday cake until Sept because that's when Dan's mom and our friends will be there so we'll be able to enjoy it with everyone.

I hadn't thought aboutTink gifts for Judy but that is a great idea , Can't be food though an money is tight so I will need to be inventive !!! I hve most of th gifts for the 3 kids I hve 2 foam Tinkerbells from previous trip so I need to find some plain colored gifts bags to attach them too !! I thought I would see if I could get the front desk at Pop to give the kids the bags with the first gift and a note saying more to follow ! The girls will know teens aren't that easily fooled but Kyle will be thrilled !!

50 days today! WOOHOO! In 49 days we'll be in FL! :cool1: Hopefully it's sunny and warm but not too hot!

Who knows on the computer....if we skipped our July trip I could use the money I've saved for the trip for the computer but I really want to go. I'm sure it will be sooner than later. Here's my 100 day countdown chain:yay: I just cut strips of colored paper, punched mickey heads, on the strips we wrote WDW triva, places we planning on eating , charcters names, what we are celebrating. info on trip, etc. each strip has something written or colored by Landen on it.:) I put punched out Mickey heads with the # of the day on each strip. Hi Grace!!! It's so great that you get to make your ADR's in 8 days!! That means you are sooooo close. Your plans are coming along. My sister gets to make her ADR's on the 12th. I'll probably make them for her because she has so much anxiety over this whole trip.
For my autograph books, I went to Michael's and got a 6x6 spiral photoalbum with blank pages. On one side, I covered the page with Disney themed scrapbook paper, and the other side left blank for the autograph. Then you can adhere the picture, on the Diseny paper, opposite the autograph. Do you have any ideas on what you want to do with your autograph? What size?

We are not planning on attending MNSSHP, it just not in the Budget for this trip, we needed to decide between Sea World and the party and Sea world won. We used to have one here in Ohio, and had season passses.

Thanks! You're such a good friend. You know how they say "when it rains, it pours"? I feel like I'm in the middle of a freaking hurricane right now. :rotfl: That's the best way I can explain it. Changed Sci fI Dinner To Sept 12th at 3:00 p.m ( Garden Grill was here)

My goal for this week is to pick out the disign for our Anniversary shirts.
and get started printing out pages for the autograph books. Might also see about ivite letters for Dinners

Still trying to figure out days and park schedules.

We had a cookout yesterday with Kylie and Josh (DD#2 and SIL)
We talked about them not being able to go with us to WDW because he can't get time off because of his new job. Josh told me not to be so wooried and be glad he got this new job, because on our NEXT trip to WDW he be making enought money to pay for the trip and that there might be a littleprincess:or pirate: to take along to.

My sisters ADRs went pretty well. I gave her the times and she called them in. She got the first three o.k., and then it went south. The bad thing is, I forgot to make an alternate schedule for most of the restaraunts. She worked it out, and I just had to make some park rearrangements. No biggie.
I am so excited for her. I just hope that she has a good time. I don't want to plan her whole trip, but I know how important it is to go with some sort of a plan.
Glad your SIL got a new job, and planning a new addition is fun too. ;)

I buy the UNoficial guide book every year or so !! If you hav the current year you can get all the info by filing in words from certain pages !! I subed to TGM this year but basically I know most of what they all say !! GET TO THE PARK AT ROPE DROP!!!!! Use FP etc

As for my favorite things !!! Soarin, TSM, Spectro would be the top3 !! We are going to Spectro our first night !! DD is not totally thrilled but knows I know what I'm doing !! She likes to go to PH and DTD on the first night !! I explained how seldom Spectro and Fantasmic are on so we had to fit them in when we could !! So she's ok with it !!

I found a red polo for Landen with a Mickey on it, on the sleeve it says Walt Disney World. it look as if it never has been worn, a Nemo hat, 2 Mickey sweatshirts and A FANTASIA t-shirt that I'm going to wear the night we go to see Fantamic, and a new stuffed Mickey to add to my collection:smickey:

Your right. I called about my ADR at Narcoosee's and the CM said 9:30 .
I was able to change it to 7:45 , he said just to keep calling to see if I could get closer to 8:00. I also changed our ADR at Sci-fI to 1:30 so we could see the parade. So lets see this makes the 3rd and 4th changes:rolleyes1:rolleyes1but who's counting:lmao:

The trip to the Zoo was lots of fun, we hope we can go again, we have a zoo pass that get us into some zoo free and others at 1/2 off.
The zoo has a baby elephant. and the aquraium (sp?) was nice, we saw a driver feeding the fish.
Going to Kennywood ammusement park tommorow. to see how Landen does with rides, it will be me. Corri, Kylie and Josh. Landen has never been to a ammusement park,only rides at fairs or zoo. Will be intersenting to see how he does.
And will see how Gramma does too. Yesterday I fell at my BEst friend son wedding so I limping around, don't think I broke my foot,but it turning black and blue, if it not better in coulple of days I'm go see the Dr.
The Disneymoon autogrphs book I made for the happy couple came out great, I really proud of it. when I get the pictures on my computer, I'll post some here. The couples is staying at Carbibiean Beach resort in A pirate room.

Some updates:)
Our trip to Kennywood was FUN, it a very nice park. It remind me of the Old Euclid Beach park we use to have here in Cleveland OH.
Landen was very good, he listen well and rode in his stroller great, he doesn't like to ride in the stoller or cart when we go to stores here at home. Not sure about rides through, he liked the rides that just went round and roound, wanted to sit on Corri lap if and adult was aloud to ride, guess we will have to take it slow with rides. Do you think he could sit on Corri lap or rides at WDW, like Dumbo. or Priate's?
My foot is very black and blue and I have To wrap whenI'm standing or walking, it dosen't hunt as much as it did, although I'm still limping.

We are staying at CSR this time, we've stayed at POP, all-star sports and at the French Qtr. We did get a airfare of $158.00 RT and non stop from Cleveland so we are flying. Our dinners are 9-13 Moma Melsore 9-14 Panet Hollywood 9-15 Rose and Crown 9-16 Raglin Road 9-17 Tony's town Sq. from here on I've been changing A LOT to try and find the right mix for us. I've got the LeCellier 2x and the Liberty Tree and Raglin Road again. I took the 1st I could get so now I'm trying to get them in the order I want at better times .

POP is a nice resort, we prefer less kids so thats why we didn't go back there again. It can get busy trying to get back after park closing, but thats at all of them, you may wait a little longer but as long as you not rushing you'll be fine. Try to do the things that are on a limited schedule 1st we missed the Nemo hand puppet show at AK last time, we went the last day we were there and it was closed for the day :eek:. Your grandson will have a blast there, everybody at every age gets something different out of Disney.

Hope all is going well with you, under 70 days it will be here before we know it, I hope. We have all our sample sizes ready to go, that way we can leave it there when we go. What I do is put them in the siutcase as I'm packing my stuff so my packed clothes smell good at the start and then just take then down to the laundry and use them in the dryer. One sheet 2 uses.

We are staying at Coronado Springs Resort this year. We've stayed at the POFQ before, its a really nice small resort. Everything is close together, the only problem is that it doesn't have a table service place to eat at. When we stayed it was very easy to get on the bus and get a seat. Its stops there before going to POR. My wife and I took long walks a long the river, road the boat to Downtown Disney. We even did a carrage ride from the POR side of the resort. We were going to stay there this year but will try something new !!!.

Our LeCellier reservations are 9/16 at 5:40.I had it on 2x this year but realized that our last few dinners were at basically only 2 resorts so thats why the changing around. Our 9/16 is at Raglin Road at 6:00. Our last dinner is always at Liberty Tree I'm not sure how we got started on it but we keep going back on our last day. I'm still trying to put LeCellier on the 9/14 instead of the Rose and Crown.

As for meeting you & Rosie, it mostly depends on the flight down. We are susposed to leave at 12:30 and get to Orlando airport at about 2:30 then the time to the resort and getting checked in. We should be able to get to MK by the time of the parade. You are right with 4 going, regular sizes will be better. I just use what ever shampoo they have same with soap. We do have our list of what we're taking with us just have to open a suitcase and start packing it in:banana::banana:. Talk to you soon,

How did you get coupons for trial sizes? Where I work most coupons I get from customers say "not good on trial sizes"

I do the same things as Chuck And put them in my suticases to keep my clothes smelling good and I also put some in when I store my suitcases too.

I thought I tell you about our camping trip, althought this will be the third time I tried to post it,I tried yeterday and it keep telling me I was'nt logged in:confused3

We camped for 3 nights at a place called Lake O Pines about 30 mintues from home.

We eat lots of GREAT food, ribs that meat was falling off the bones, fresh catch fish, and bacon and eggs cook over and outdoor fire and of course somemores nd pie iron pies We all love camping and cooking outdoors.

Landen did really well, he just had a hard time understanding about not going home at night. he liked the tent.

We walked around the lake twice about 1 mile around Landen walk most of the way only had to picked up a couple of times for a short distance, Good training for WDW.

When we went swimming Landen was playing with a little boy and I was talking to his mother, telling her that we where trying to get him used to knew place and things as we were going to WDW in Sept.:thumbsup2 She got all excited and said that it was the most magical place and we where going to have a wonderful time as they had been there in Oct 2007 and she started to tell about all the great things we could do. I asked her where she had learned so much, she said on the internet, I asked if she knew the DISboards she say YES, but she had never registered,

Corri was in the water with Landen so I did not need to be watching him, Just what you to know I was not inoring him.
We did decide that we are glad we are not camping at WDW, as we are ALL very tired and that it would be hard to camp and enjoy the parks too.

We had to go on on ice run to Marc's and I got some Light up Fans for .50 and some paperback disney books that I going to use in the tinkerbell
bags. So even camping I'm thinking Disney:thumbsup2

I'll hopefully get the reciept of payment off the other computer and be able to tell you. We paid $99.00 for it so thats not a bad deal. I not sure if we will be doing rope drops, I know that it a good thing to do, but I what to see how Landen does.

If we need to Sleep in we will, if we need to go back for naps we will, we will have a car which should make things a little easier, Some times we will use the Bus and sometime the car.

The last time we went to Disney they had the bounceback that was basically the same deal that you got before you left. It may have been a little cheaper, but it was just the free dining as long as you booked a room before you left. As long as the person who was there booked the room and went back, so you couldn't book a room and give the reservation away to somebody else. I also think one person can book 2 rooms, yoiu must also put a $200.00 deposit on it. If its going to happen you will hear about it before we go, and there will be a piece of paper in you room on how to book it. Way to go Rosie already remembering those dryer sheets. at least you won't have too do this:laundy, :laundy:

I like to the idea of always doing something on each trip the same, starting a tradation. We started our trip in 2006 with breakfast at Chef Mickey 'sand will do that this time too.:thumbsup2 I never thought iI would get to go again, so we are looking for a couple of things on this trip that we will do on all other trips, looking for a place that a little different to get a pictures taken every time, to see would big the grandson is getting and for any addition grandchildren that may inculde.

So the goal for today is to find my friend.

We live in a small house, and have to move everything around at beinging of each season for vents and stuff, When we pack up our things so i could put out the christmas stuff, I thought I put Pal mickey in the box with our vacation stuff, I have a cabinet where i put lots of my mickey things on display, and put them away at holiday time when I put them out after christmas Pal wasn't here but i was not concerned I though he was in my vacation box, yesterday when i was checking the box and going over my list . I noticed he was not there.
So I guess i will tearing the house apart looking for him.

Still working on printing pages for autograph books, and want to pick out my invites today.

After going thought ALL my boxes of Christmas stuff and still no PAl and the going thu what was the girls room, I didn't know where to began even called Corri to see if I had taken Pal to her house to show Landen, But no luck, I decide to move the couch out so I could get a to a bookcase where have some books stored that I don't need all the time,you can't see the bookcase the couch is infront of it we use the top as on end table if that makes sense.
AND there he was siiting on the shelf with the books, I don't remember puting him there :confused3

I plan to put him in a box to leave for Landen with a note on how he looking forward to see him for him to get on the morning he leave for WDW.

This is our 3rd trip... We stayed at Pop in 2004 and All Star movies last year... Yes Chuck I too am pretty set !!I've got the daily park snax all individually packed for the kids and a bag for the plane , chewing helps the ears !!!!! I wll be shipping down a box with breakfast foods like granola bars and honeybuns and room snax also my window decorations complete with scissors:rotfl2:You did hear how I got caught at the airport with scissors in my carryon !!!:rotfl2: Now I have the ponchos I really don't need to buy much maybe some new undies , the kids do need shorts , they should be ok for sneakers and tops as school clothes will have been purchased !!

Disney shopping is always fun!! I will get to HD this week hopefully!!I have been picking up extra hours at my second job to help with bills and Disney money!! Yesterday I worked from 6 a.m till 2 am with only a couple of half breaks in betweeen !! So am TIRED!!!

Her trip plans are going o.k., as far as I know. I think that she bought ponchos. I talked to her about buying snacks, crystal light, and I can't remember what else. Things that she didn't think of.

OHHH have fun with that Grace! I love shopping! Just an FYI, JCPenney's clearance will be an additional 40% starting tomorrow. You can get really good deals, especially on kids clothes.

Things are going fine, although I'm one of those persons who can always find something more to do, to add to the magic.
We are trying to get our clothes into 1 suitcase for me and DH, and I suitcase for extra stuff(Tinkerbell gifts and surprises) daughter and grandson will need some extra space, and will have a cooler and stoller too. not sure how much space in the rental car.
My DH need a few new shirts. I did see Rosie annocement:goodvibes

The happy couple 2 years ago today, can't believe my baby girl is a married woman let alone has been married 2 years.
They had a Cinderalla themed wedding, with flowergirl dress, just like cinderalla, a castle card box, and pixie dust favors. It was a magicial day.

I never thought I get to go to WDW, I had wanted to go for most of my adult life but things never seem to work out, So when things happened and I was able to take my family I never thought That my daughter would be getting proposed to while we where there, He asked my DH for permission to marry Kylie about 3 months before we went and we worked with Disney to set it up it was a hard secert to keep for over 3 months.
And IT all work out so magical I do believe that Kylie thinks she a princess now.

This past weekend, David,(my DH) Corri and I where talking about our vacation( we tend to do that alot:lmao:)
When we 1st started planning our trip was Friday Sept 11th thur Sunday Sept 20th with flying and 6 of us going.

Then we decided we would drive, Corri worked Monday thur Thursday, she asked her boss for that Thursday off*Sept10th so we where going to leave on Wed nite and drive staright thur:scared1:



So the "New plans are to leave on Sat/Sun nite about
2:30 a.m drive as far as we are comfortable, get a room and drive the rest of the way on Monday, we going to spend a day at the beach on Tuesday, Thinking about getting a room in St Augustine or Cocca beach area. Wed we will go to Sea World, will get a room in Orlando. Thursday check into Pop's:yay::yay:
This get us a extra day at WDW:cool1:Because we figured we would be too tired to after driving 18 hr to do anything so we where just planning on staying at the resort. So we might be able to go to the MK and get Landen his 1st haircut!!!!!
So this make our trip only
33 days away:banana::cool1::yay::woohoo::cheer2::dance3:

Sounds like you and Rosie are all set to leave !!! We are down to 35 days not as soon as I'd like but I need enough time to make sure I get everything done before leaving. I would stay about half way down, no sence in killing yourself to get down only to spend 2 days trying to recouperate from the drive. I've only ever flown so I have no ideas for a place to stop over. I would stay at a big exit so there is anything you would want., and its easy to find your way back on the road. Good luck on finding a place to stay maybe a pool would be nice.

Well, we were going to take I75 all the way down, so we were planning on stopping in Macon, GA. That would've been about 10-12 hours the first day. Then about 5-6 the next day. I'm not sure from where you're coming from what would be a good place to stay. You can google like, "how many hours does it take to get to Orlando" and see that way. Then you could decide. What way are you guys taking? 65? (is that a way?) We wanted to get the bulk of our driving done the first day so that we could get to Disney sooner on the second day. ;)
I have heard from Lynn on her TR. They had just gotten back and she had meetings at work. She said she would try to report something this weekend.

They are talking about leaving at 6 am !! You do the math we are gonna be racing to that plane and I am gonna be ******:eek:

I just like you I Want to get to Airport earlier Just in case something unexpected should happen.
I been checking Hotel prices on the internet, found a Super 8 in Kissimee for under $30 and some other places too. thinking will just drive around to make sure it nice and in a safe place. I don't want to book online.
Hotel in St. Augustine are a bit higher arounf $75 was hoping for around $50 going to try Cocca Beach too.

Grace the late shifts are my second job ( Disney money) I usually work every Monday till midnight and some sundays and fridays different hours but frequently the late shift!!!But hey at over $10 an hour it adds up for Disney!!

I got the t-shirts disign figured out:worship::worship: I finally got 2 of the disigns printed out That 's 8 differnt tansfers. 1st trip and 35 years of magic done, tonight I 'll do the family ears disign, and on Saturday iron them on. I SOOOO happy I figure it out.:woohoo::yay:

Grace, I talked to my sister yesterday and I am SO proud of her!!! With her own idea, she typed up her ADR's on a 3x5 card and lamenated it! She also made 4 COPIES! I AM SO PROUD!!!!! She said, "well, you need them and I didn't want them to get wet". I'm so happy I could cry. :hug: :thumbsup2

Well, today did not work out like I had planned, as you read above, Trying to decide if I want to go get dark tranfers and reprint the disigns are by white t shirts and use the tranfers i have, I very disapointed that it did not work out as I planned. I get some thing in my head and when it does not work out, it really upset me. i know this is stupid thing to be upset about out,think I just take some time tonite to read some TR at catch up on the DIS that should make me HAPPY:goodvibes

We did get some shopping done got a few more snaks, and Dave got some new shorts.
We also cleaned and decorted our stolller fo WDW. We have a stoller here at home for Landen to use, sometimes he dose not like to ride in his stoller, preferres to walk. I thought if we could make his stoller special for the trip he would like it more , So Poppa and Landen wash at scrub it clean .check all the wheells an trighten nut and bolts, (my DH is a mechanic and Landen love to help Poppa) We put stickers on the tray and the wheells it decortated with Mickey and gang, My friend is majing a new seat pad that is Mickey and we attached a stuffed mickey.

Sorry about the T Shirts Grace!! We may rent a stroller at the Parks, Kyle is 7 and too big for a regular stroller but still youn enuff he may get tired !! So we are gonna see !! It's $31 a day to rent a double but it would be better than him being miserable and ruining it for all of us !!! I wish we lived closer we could use a mechanic !!!!!

Yesterday I got Somme more t-shirts, and reprinted the tranfers.

I got some old t- shrts I had in the rag bag and practice of them

I have 1st trip on gray, 35th anniversary girls on pink, boys on blue. and the family disign on white, They look good:thumbsup2I still have to do my and David family disign tomorrow, we had to redo the family ones we had did them on yellow they looked O.K. but when Corri washed them thet stuck together not sure why. But the look better on the white shirts.
I had not reprinted the family disign did not know they had stuck but had printed A tansfer for Kylie and Josh and so I use theirs for Corri and Landen.

Will try to post pictures later have to get them to my photobucket account.

I wonder if I be able to get it all together in 2 suitcase.:rolleyes1

We have decided to leave on Saturday late morning around 11:00/11;30 a.m. . after we pickup the rental car and get it packed. Instead of leaving at Sat/Sun morning arounf 2;30 a.m. Guess I'm not the only one who excited.

Yea Grace !! I have another week of work I finish at noon on th 11th, then have a BIG Cheerleading Contest that Night and leave for Disney next Saturday morning !!
I am still not sure how we are getting to the airport !!!:scared1: Evrytime we think we have it all figured out a problem arises !!! Latest is our luggage carrier that we lent to a friend is in Disney with the group she went with they had a huge falling out and she is flying home and we are not sure what will happen to our carrier which shoots the heck out of 1 vehicle for 6 of us plus luggage !!:scared1:

I think (hope) I got everything packed that I need. David says if we are missing something we can stop at Walmart and get it,

I pack 1 suitcase and 1 rolling duffel bag, with clothes, personal care, and Tinkerbell gifts. Think I did pretty good since it for both of us.
I almost had a heart attack when I could not find Landen's autograph books there are one for MK, one for epcot princess, one for AK and MGM
and one for characthers meals, I don't expect to be albe to get all the autographs just wanted to be prepared and i had a great time making them. I had taken them to work to shoe them anf thought i had brought them home WE torn the house apart looking for them, So I won't be coming home to clean house, i just to tried to clean it up tonite/

My trip seem so far away when I first started planning it, i learned so much here, and got so many great ideas, I had planed to make autograph books, t-shirts, tip envlopes and a journal, Then only thing i did not get done is a jounal for Corri and Landen, I think a not book will work just find.

I printed out direction from Rand Mcnally it is really detailed,:thumbsup2it included the weather and maps of each city I put stops in forCharlotte NC,, Charleston SC, Savahanna, Ga, St augustine Fl, and Pop Century around trip is 2155 miles, driving time is 35 hours, 35 minutes I like to way it done better than map quest.

I can't believe that i'm getting go for a 2nd time. I going to try really hard to take it some and enjoy seeing things though Landen eyes.
I want to thank everyone for helping me and for sharing all the good tips and ideas . I can't wait to meet Rosie and family and Chuck and Mr's.Chuck See you on Sept 12th for Specto magic by the country bear jamboree.

We had LOTs a special moments and where granted a magical moment by a CM, I got to meet Rosie, and saw Spectomagic with her it was so nice to meet.

Our resort was great would reconmend to everyone, but no towel animal . Took some of the ferrys to different place that was fun, Got lots of autographs, and took lots of Photopass pictures.

My DSIS had the misfortune to travel with a drama filled 5 yr old who would ruin many a magical moment.
