Maybe Batman really was just super quick, or it was a coincidence. Elaine's was slightly more randomly placed and not the last post in the thread.
I've asked Elaine nicely to link forward so we can follow through them all. I guess the next milestone is 10,000 cumulative posts :rotfl:

I've just worked out that the next thread is due to start while I'm in Seattle, so somebody else will have to look after adding the link back to the old thread and then asking the powers that be nicely to link forward to the new thread.
Alternatively, we could talk really slowly so that we're still on this thread when I get back from Seattle.

It's not that hard to get confused in this thread, it moves so quickly, especially in the evenings and weekends.
Those of us in the evening crowd do an awful lot of posting, so as you can see, we outgrew the thread again last night. It's always configured so there's a link forward to the new one though, so finding us shouldn't be too difficult :thumbsup2
The last thread was only alive for just over 1 week (2 weekends), so we go through threads pretty quickly.

Cool. Never seen it at the one in Hempstead. I usually use Marks and Spencer for my currency, mainly becuase if I go in there and say I want to buy £300 worth or euros they don't keep trying to sell me other stuff like some travel agents do.
I went to one the other day to buy £100 of Australian $ to send to my brother and they wanted £128.76!! That was so that they could give me an even number of $!

Oh dear........:rotfl:
They send me a letter saying that they were taking a DD out on the 17th of September, the letter was only sent on the 10th September and they have to give 10 days notice under the direct debit guarantee of when they are taking paymetns.
Normally I wouldn't bother but there isn't going to be any money in the account tomorrow!

Just a little bit.
Every time I see Kacee watching "My Friends Tigger and Pooh" or "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse" and see the exitement on his face it makes me more excited about taking him.
The first thing he did when he woke up today was pointed at the telly and said "Daddy, Tigger, Tigger"

He is, all of a sudden. He learnt how to say 'Tigger' as he has a few of the bouncing Tigger toys. Now he can say all the characters names from the show and even knows the theme tune!
It sounds really bad but he only watches about an hour of television a day, one episode of "My Freinds Tigger and Pooh" and one episode of either "Handy Manny", "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse" or "In the Night Garden"
It's really the reason why we decided to go for DLRP. If you see a little boy, running around on reigns shouting "Tigger, Pooh, Eyeore, Piglet, Mouse" and two fraught parents trying to keep up with him then that will probbaly be us!

Hi mummyal - welcome to the madhouse.
I wouldn't worry too much about catching up or not. The conversation changes every day / night and is always on going, so just jump in on anything that's on going, or start a brand new conversation that you want to talk about - there's almost always more than one going on at once. You don't really need to read everything to follow what's going on and even if you do, there's a good chance you'll still get confused - I know I do :rotfl2:
Oops - I'm starting to sound like Batman / Cyrano! Please don't sue me for copyright infringement Reid - I didn't mean it, honest :thumbsup2

I think you'll be starting the new one while I'm in Seattle at some point...

To do that, we need to be on about page 125 or so by the end of this weekend. It's a tall order because we're missing Bob, who forms a key component of the "day team".

Apart from my kids the only person who gets my Disney obsession is my cousin and that's because he LOVES Disney - he was round the other week to see all the photographs and watch the videos - we do the same when he comes back from Florida - a proper Disney night!

That's not surprising.
My grandparents are struggling to understand why I want to go to Disneyland for a day trip, plus they're convinced I won't enjoy it because it's not as good as Florida in their opinion.
I just want to go and see what the differences are, see Walt's work first hand and be able to say that I've been there etc...

I'd normally be able to pop in on a tuesday afternoon as it's my working from home afternoon. Today I had to work all day as we had staff in a meeting - won't have the luxury of being online during the day (well before 4pm) until Friday afternoon now.

I don't actually care when it finishes - it will finish once we hit 250 pages and a moderator notices.
It's just fun to try and predict when we will hit that point based on how quickly we've done it before. At the moment, I'm torn as to whether we will manage it before of after I leave to Seattle on the 29th(ish), which is what we're debating currently.

If I do get to go, then I'll be going with fairly low expectations. Hopefully, if I set them low, then they'll be exceeded and I'll be pleased with the trip.
I'm a little nervous about visiting DL - new area, late nights etc on my own and all that, but I'm sure I'll be ok.

Quite a few have availability at the moment - it was just advice from the DL board that they might be busy and nearly full because it's Gay days and Miley Cyrus' sweet 16 party - both that weekend.

I'm too old for Miley (she's 2/3 my age ;) ) and DB doesn't really care about TV, so we get to avoid her.
Best of Both Worlds is on my iPod as part of the Disney disc I own (and does get played quite a bit), but I wouldn't actively go to see her in concert at a sensible price, let alone pay £150 for her party, especially as I'd then have to buy a new outfit, straighten my hair, get her birthday card, a present, the list just goes on.
