Hey everybody!!

So here's the story...this weekend, I am sitting with my Fiance and we are talking about the Disney Marathon....well, after going this past January and doing the Full marathon, I was dead set on doing the Goofy in 2009....well, to make a long story short, we got engaged and I didn't sign up for Goofy because I was going to try to save money for the wedding. So, my fiance says to me you should do it...and I was like, how am I going to do it now, it is sold out. Well he says he heard about Anthony Travel and how they have entries into the Goofy as long as you buy a room package through them. He tells me he thinks I should do it! UGH..why couldn't he say that 9 months ago!!! Well, now I looked into Anthony Travel, and I think I am going to book with them, but I wanted to see if anybody has used them before and if so, what did they think?

Sorry so long...I am really psyched about the possibility of doing the Goofy!!!!

Hi Tracy! Thanks...I actually was over there and I saw that. My Fiance actually booked it today to surprise me, thinking I was going to do it...so I am officially signed up for the Goofy Challenge!

We have used them for hotel rooms a couple of time and haven't had any problems. It is a little odd since you really have no control of the room since you didn't make the reservation and that is something we are used to doing. Everything worked out fine and there are times where they have the best prices for the hotel rooms.

Look for a thread that looks like this..

Wk of Sept 14th (or what the date of the last Sunday was) WISH Walking/Running club.

This is the "main" thread that everyone goes to. It starts fresh every week.

Good luck and you can also check the main STICKY at the top of all the threads for more information about the WISH racing team and where to find the information you need.

Laurie...

Just wanted to say that we used them for the Minnie Weekend trip (cause they had Coronado for rediculously cheap prices) and everything worked out perfectly! They even give you a contact name and number for someone who is onsite with the company in case you run in to any problems.

I'd use them again without hesitation

Good luck!

We ended up registering with them, and I got in for the Goofy. We are staying 4 nights at Pop Century. They actually emailed me today with the link to register for the race. I went online and did it and I am all set. They have been great to work with so far!

If you really want to do a race and they are sold out, it is a great way to go.

Scott-Thanks for the info! Too bad you and Amy won't be down there this year, we will miss you!!

Hi Laurie, We booked John (Space Ranger) for the 2007 Half Marathon through Anthony Travel. We had no problems at all with our reservations. We stayed at the Poly & I believe we only paid a $1 more per night then we would have with our original AAA rate. One thing to keep note of....do not expect your race packet when everyone else is receiving theirs. They don't get sent out at the same time. If I recall, John got his about 3 weeks after Sean (DS) & I got ours.

Glad you were able to work it out so you can do the 2009 Goofy!
