Ok, so I am having a dilemma........ I can't seem to find nice shoes that have a small heel.
Lee and I are the same hight (although he argues that he is slightly taller !)
and I don't want to look taller than him, but I do want some kind of heel because I think it helps with posture.
Anyone care to post a pic of their shoes so that I can get some ideas of what might be nice?
Also can anyone reccommend somewhere in the Orlando area that would be good to go shoe shopping when we are there in Nov for our planning trip?
Thanks
Linz xxx :)

I actually bought mine at Davids Bridal. The were soooooo comfortable. I had them on for 8 hours:scared1:
They had little buckles that had crystals around them. They were simple but still dressy imo!

Those look very comfy! I was just in a wedding on saturday for a friend of mine that got married and my feet were killing me in the shoes that I had picked. It is making me rethink the shoes that I have picked out right now.

I'm taller than DH, so I had to wear flats. (And my posture's terrible any way you slice it! :rotfl:). I got these mirror-finish silver ones on sale on Piperlime.com - I'm not sure if their shipping to the UK is prohibitively expensive, though...

I have a bad left knee from playing ice hockey in high school - my knee cap isn't really attached correctly because of it... I can't wear heels or anything without being in pain.:headache: But that's ok, because I have no balance. I would just be dangerous in anything above a flat:rotfl: . So I've got Birki's with Swarovski Crystals. Please forgive the ugly foot! :goodvibes

I have the same problem - I don't want to be much taller than DF and my back hurts if I wear high heels anymore, so.. I think I'm going with the second shoe. I ordered both to try on. They come in wide widths, too!! There's always great deals on ShoeBuy, I got 20% off with free shipping and it's free returns, too. They have a lot of nice bridal shoes. :goodvibes

Here are my shoes ($8 at DSW). Not my favorite ever (I really wanted white but could find nothing I liked and could walk in so settled for these silky silver ones), but they are comfy and they will work. Also, the stones remind me of a horseshoe and DF and I train horses and own a barn so that works (these pics were taken with my phone so the color is a little odd):

http://i103.photobucket.com/albums/m153/irisbud/Photo_070908_008.jpg
I origionally bought these, they were fine at the store on carpet, but I could NOT walk in them on harwood, tile, or linoleum, so I didn't want to chance it at the Boardwalk. They were also horribly uncomfortable for me. I gave them to my Sis (MOH) to use if she wanted to since she wears shoes like that all of the time, and she loves them!

It won't let me post pics/links yet because I don't have a high enough post count, but mine are off the website myglassslipper DOT com
If you click on "Shoes Under $100," --> In Stock --> Less Than 1" Heel, it should be the 3rd one on the page, style 6025 by Special Occasions
I had to go with flats because, even though he won't admit it, I'm slightly taller than fiance. I think I'm going to dye them some fun color to wear under my dress, but I haven't decided yet. I just love the ribbon/ballet style.

Okay, I'm not going to be much help for a low, dressy heel, but I am here to confess that I have THREE pairs of "wedding" shoes.
See, I fell in love with these when I thought I was doing pink shoes, a pink bag and a pink crinoline:
http://i265.photobucket.com/albums/ii221/keenercam/pinkheel.jpg
But, then I decided to go with silver accessories. So, I'll wear the pink shoes to our rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, and dessert party, and I'll wear these to the wedding:

And these are for the reception (after the first dance) -- I still have to Mickey-ize them

Thankfully this thread made me think of something which I forgot to think about before.
That if I want to change to a lower heel comfy pair of shoes for the reception, I should get my dress hemmed to the smaller heel!
Just posting my thoughts out loud in case any of you also forgot about that hehe.
Also, I really need to go check out DSW!
