We are fast approaching the time of year that training for the January WDW Half and Full Marathon is keeping most of us motivated to get our miles in. The Miles Teams can help with that by giving you a little extra support over the tough spots.
However as we all know doing our races and training sometimes has to take a backseat to life issues. Several of the teams have lost players so we have plenty of openings.
Please let me know if you want to be on a team.

What sort of time committment does it involve? Would you mind explaining what we need to do as team members? Thanks!

The time you devote to it is entirely up to you. At a minimum is about 5 min a week to PM the captain how many miles and minutes of exercise you did. But most of the team members like to get and give information and support to each other.

I did the 1/2 in 2008 and loved it.
Hope we get a chance to meet this year, there was a huge group from Canada last year but not sure how they all met, I have been watching the runningroom site but haven't ' seen anything.
Sorry Dave.....will buy ya a beer in Oct:hug:

Cindy are you doing any of the Toronto 1/2 or full marathons?

I don't know why I haven't signed up to join a team yet. I'm ready to join one. I have a few more half marathons coming up so, I'll definitely have the time/miles to contribute to a team.
