If you have 230 points + 100 points at the same resort, do they have to be sold together? Or can the add on be sold first and then the other?

They can be sold separately.

Sorry to hear you're selling :( but you can sell the contracts separately, no problem....
You could even sell the larger contract and keept the add on if you wanted.

You can only sell them individually if they have different contract numbers. Buying them at different times from DVC does not guarantee this.

Ripleysmom's response contradicts the other responses. Anyone know for sure?
You can sell any contract bought separately, even if the same base number. There will always be a qualifier for contracts under the same basic member number so that DVC and whoever, can identify the individual contract. This is why it's a good idea to have multiple contracts if buying a fairly large number of points from DVC, say two 150 contracts instead of a single 300 pt contract.

Every contract will have it's own unique number- usually identified by the suffix. The main, original contract will end in .000, the first add-on will end in .001, the next .002, etc. So, even though all will share the main contract number- every additional contract will still be a separate legal entity and will be capable of being sold by itself- regardless of the size of the contract.
Enjoy!
