June 13th Cruise Docs Are Here!!

WOOOO HOOOO!!! I got them! For my fellow cruisers with kids, we're in room 8016. Staying in a Suite at the Grand Floridian June 7th-13th. I'm so excited I could pee my pants!

We are staying in 8012 on the June 20th Wonder and 15th thru the 20th at the Poly Lagoon View. I guess ours will be arriving soon.

You are sooo lucky!! I have not received my documents yet but you can bet I'll be waiting anxiously for them to arrive. We know we are in 8552, but to have them "in hand" will make the whole cruise seem so much more real. We are all getting excited here too, almost as much as you! Not many more days to go. No fair! Our docs haven't arrived yet! But our mail is notorious for being late! Hopefully ours will be here tomorrow! If not, I may cry! So, what do we have to look forward to? Lots of info?

Fedex delivers your cruise docs. Keep an eye out for the fedex truck. I am waiting for my June 27th cruise docs also.:D We book with Disney/DVC.

It is so exciting to get your documents. Makes it more of a reality!! If you've never stayed in one of the suites, you will absolutely love it!! We stayed in 8016 back in May '99. We're in 8516 this May 18th and can't wait!!! Have a great time!!

To Hoosierfantasia, We too are sailing on June 20 and will be staying at the Poly, check in date is June 16!!!!! We are also from IN. around Fort Wayne area. This will be our 2nd Disney Cruise!!!! It truly is a small world. Marla:smooth:

We booked thru AAA also for the cruise June 13th, will we get ours by FedEx, or will AAA let us know when they come in?

Can't wait to get ours!...The excitement is building!!!!

I know the feeling! We got our 6/8 cruise docs from FedEx this week also! Actually, he left me a note on the door for a redelivery, and I DROVE through Tampa's rush hour traffic just to get them! Now it is just about ALL we think about!

We went on the Wonder in Aug. 01 and like everyone here when we got our cruise documents we were SOOOOO excited! Well our 14 month old was very curious (your typical toddler) so I thought " Hmmm I better put these some where safe so he can't get to them.." Well I did just that..

The night before we were to leave I had just finished packing and the final thing was the documents..

"Now, where did I put those again?"

The search began..has anyone seen the Grocery Game show where contestant run down every isle looking for something..picture that 100 times more at midnight...!

We looked and looked. Called my mom hysterical! Dh just nodding his head saying " I can't believe you lost them." " I DIDN'T LOSE THEM ! I just misplaced them."

Clock strikes 2am..still looking...beginning to cry now.."Maybe if we explain to them we lost them and show our ID's they will let us on..!!!" DH replies as he looks at me with the very disappointed look "I hope so"

Needless to say we found them an hour later...Where you ask?
I had taken the cute little box they come with and put them on the bottom part of my nightstand and stood it up like a book so it just blended right in with all my other books that my dear son never touches!!!!!

Moral of the story: Keep those documents in a safe place but by god remember where you put them...

BTW- We had a great time despite our rocky start! Going again this Aug. on the Magic..

Our documents came today! I'm SOOOO excited! Something good came from dd getting sick at school, and getting home early. We're in 7012. I'm going to put them in the same safe place our passports and airline tix are, so as not to lose them! We have so much going on between now and then, but I wish we were leaving today!!!!:bounce:

Yippee,,,,,AAA called, and I picked up our documents today..

We are in stateroom 7000. The excitement is almost unbearable!!!

I showed the documents to the kids and they couldn't believe all those pages were one ticket. I showed them their names printed on the tickets and they got so excited! The 6 year old (will turn 7 on the cruise) has never been anywhere except once to Disney World a couple years ago. The 10 year old will have 3 trips to Disney World in May - once with the school safety patrol, once with the girl scouts, and once with her 5th grade graduation class.
This is the earliest we have ever received documents before a cruise. Jumping for joy we are: :bounce: :bounce: :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

We'll be celebrating our child's birthday too. When I ordered our shore excursions I asked about a birthday cake the last evening ,and they said they could do that Yea! My older daughter grabbed her documents, and complained because they all have her "legal" name, instead of what everyone calls her. Oh well! I told her she has to go by her legal name, but she's a teen, she lives to complain!:rolleyes:

We have had nothing but rain for the past week and unseasonably cold weather, so hopefully this is a sign of better weather ahead !! I can't wait to be sitting on the deck with the sun on my face!!!
