I'm starting a new :meet and greet" thread for the 3-day Bahamas cruise on the Wonder during Spring Break, March 12, 2009.

Hey all I will also be on this cruise..It will be myself, my mother, my daughter who is 11 and my son who is 2. This is my second disney cruise...we just got back from the 7 day on Dec 6th. My mother and daughter have been on 5. I was scared to death to be on the boat and cancled my first 3 times....i got up the nerve and went and it was the most amazing thing I have ever experienced. We will also be going again on Sept 27th (take advantage of the rebooking gift while on the ship)....Can't wait to meet you all

I wouldn't mind organizing it, I've started a successful Stroller Swap that has been running since last June, but I'd rather someone who has taken part in a FE swap before head it up since this is all new to me...
I don't want to screw it up, and don't really know exactly how it works.

If nobody else steps up then I will do the research and figure out what needs to be done.
Let's see how many people are interested in joining over the next week or so...then we can organize what we've got.

Well, sad news for us. We have cancelled this cruise and it is breaking my heart. My kids were sooooo excited (okay me and hubby too!). I have been laid off and he is having a MAJOR surgery which will put him down for 6-9 weeks.

You all have a great time. I just know it will be a memorable trip!

I also want to know the next step. I think once we get assigned our room numbers, we can go from there. I just recieved my FE that I ordered from ebay and I'm in the process of getting my FE gifts, so I hope we have good turn out for the FE exchange!!

If you're going to be on this cruise, go find out what your room # is ASAP!!!!! :woohoo: I am very excited. I got an upgrade from cat 12 to cat 11. Even though it's a small upgrade, I am thrilled!!

We have only been on one disney cruise so I am certainly no expert on this. We loved doing the FE gifts. Just something a little extra special for the kids to look forward to. Half the fun was in delivering the gifts. For our last cruise we had a list of everyones stateroom number and the age and number of kids. It was nice to receive items that were from different areas of the country (and world! we had a family from Africa that gave out soap made in their hometown!)

I think with it being only a 3 day, we can pretty much do it however you all want. I'll probably also do mine on the first night.

Some of you might already be en route, so I hope this isn't too late, but now that we're all set with FE's, is anyone interested in a meetup? I already promised DD that we can hit the Mickey pool before sailing so we'll be there early in the afternoon 3/12.
