Just returned from the Dolphin (4/16-24). Another wonderful stay at this hotel. Everything was perfect. I was a little nervous as I heard the day before I traveled that housekeeping was on strike but there was absolutely no evidence of that. They were there everyday and so nice and polite. I had 3 rooms, there were 12 of us including my sis and BIL and my brother and SIL and they were all impressed with this hotel. Stayed in room 6018, 6019 (mine with Epcot view) and 6020. I would definitely stay here again and am actually making reservations for next year!!:p

Glad you enjoyed your stay at the Dolphin! It's become one of our favorite places to stay!

We're hoping to return the end of January 2003--as soon as I get the dates, I'm making the reservation!

Macmaam......what did you think of the crowds and the weather? did the park hours change a lot? :smooth:

So glad to hear you had a nice time.

Was your room in one of the wings or in the main building?? Did you have a balcony?

We're leaving a week from today, your post is getting me hyped up for the trip!

So glad to read the positive report.

We just came home, too, and had the same enjoyable stay at the Dolphin.

"Was your room in one of the wings or in the main building?? Did you have a balcony?"

We didn't have a balcony in our room, (my sis did) but we did have the perfect view of the Epcot fireworks.

"what did you think of the crowds and the weather? did the park hours change a lot? "

I laughed just reading this question. I religiously checked the park hours before we left. They were supposed to closed at 6 on monday then changes to 8. While we are down there, I got a call as we had a birthday fireworks cruise book for MK and they changed again to 930!! The weather was beautiful, in the 80's everyday. They crowds we managable, we pretty much got to do everything we wanted. There was a noticeable downswing in crowds this week though. Of course, last week was MA school vacation, so I saw an amazing amount of red Sox hats and shirts!!

pumba, we probably did pass, as I feel like I was all over that place.
