I don't understand all this talk about codes!

I keep hearing all this talk about codes and i'm confused! Where and how do you get these codes? I'd love to stay at the Poly but it's too expensive but I could do it if I had a code. Do you have to sign up for something to get the codes?

I just got a DVC DVD in the mail. Should there be a code in there?

No one seems to really know why certain people get codes. You can improve your chances by registering on the disney web site and check the boxes that say you are interested in getting offers from them. The bounceback codes that are written about are offers people get who stayed at disney and get an offer while there to come back at a later date using the bounceback discount.
Getting the dvd can help in getting a code, but you just may need to be lucky.
Some of the other codes mentioned are general public codes that anyone can use, as long as your vacation dates fall in the dates of the codes. If it is a code for the general public, you can find information about it on the disney web site.
