Groceries for OKW

Anybody know of a decently-priced grocery store in the vicinity of OKW? We are flying/taking ME so will not have a car - wanted to pick up a few items not on the grocery list for pre-delivery thru the resort. Don't mind walking a little - thought there was something across from Downtown but can't find it.

you can have gardengrocer.com deliver any groceries/supplies needed right to you for a small delivery charge, or free if you place a big order.

Another vote for gardengrocer.com. They'll deliver directly to your resort, and their fees are very reasonable.

Has anyone made the walk to the Goodings that's supposed to be across from Downtown Disney? I looked on a satellite image, and it looks like a long haul.

It is a pretty long walk and Goodings is overpriced.

Goodings is not across the street from DTD. It is at the end of Hotel Plaza and across 535. I would say it is well over a mile (One way) from DTD. And yes prices are MUCH higher than a grocery at home.

There is a Winn Dixie a little farther up 535 with a little better prices. Perhaps you could take a cab? But still not really cost effective.

Marge at WeGoShop does at great job with her grocery delivery service. She charges the actual price of the groceries plus a small delivery fee. She will shop at any store that you ask and she will bring you the actual receipt to pay by.

There is a Winn Dixie about 10 minutes away from OKW / Saratoga...Definitely worth the price of a cab ride over. You can sign up on line for their "shopping" card and see flyers on line too.
