Quick question:
If I'm on the DDP and I puchase an appetizer OP, will there be two slips of paper to sign and add gratuity to?
Thanks-
Trying to figue out if I'll want to leave a cash tip or use my KTTWC w/ cc attached.

Yes, you'll get a separate check for the appetizer.

Actually, whether or not you get anything out of pocket, there will be at least two slips of paper, if not 3, 4 or more.:rotfl: The accounting system they're using somehow requires reams of receipts and multiples of everything. When we were there a week ago, the smallest number of receipts we were presented with was 3 slips. And every restaurant seems to keep different quantities, too: some places told us 2 of the 3 or 4 were our copies, some gave us one copy, one place gave us 4 receipts!
So yes, they'll give you multiple copies. And it will even make sense...most of the time.:dance3:

There are lots of slips, but the servers are great about explaining everything to you. It sounds overwhelming now, but when you're there it's really easy to handle.
I always figured gratuity for everything and put one lump sum on a single receipt. You hand your card and signed slips to the servers, they disappear and make magic happen so you're paid in full.

I was hoping to do this as well. Do I just tell the server I was to put the whole tip on the receipt with the appy/drinks, that way they know they didn't get stiffed? If I do that, do I write anything in the space on the DDP receipt?
