Is there a pay laundry facility at the DLH? Not sure we'll need it but as my darling DD2 had 3 different outfits on yesterday!! I thought I'd ask just in case I do need to get a few bits laundered.... ;)

Have you decided on DLH for sure then?

:rotfl: Torsie - pretty much - M&D are insisting so it would be rude not to! Haven't booked yet though! I think we'll do the 'tops' this time and then have a good look around at the others for our next visit as I doubt we'll be able to to stay there again in a hurry! ;)

Im sure there is a laundry at Cheyenne that all guests can use to do their own laundry

You can always use the laundry service at the Cheyenne.

Great thanks - might just take some handwash stuff just in case - can always use the bathroom sink and dry on towel heater or something I guess :)

Thats what i did at the Santa Fe, some of our clothes got soaked so i hung them over a chair that was next to the heater.

This is why the Marriott is a MUCH better choice IMHO when travelling with babies. There is a washer and drier in your unit. At DLH there is a laundry service (each article of clothing, even for babies, are about £6 each to launder).

The Cheyenne is a 15-20 min walk from the DLH, and I understand the launderettes have now been closed anyway (though most of the machines are often broken).

Now, I don't want to sound terrible here, but we have been to DLP more than 50 times, and we have gone about 20 times since becoming parents taking our kids from 10 weeks old.

The DLH is a great location with babies, but pack lots of extra clothes or buy them in the resort. Or stay at the Marriott with a car. Those are the 2 very easiest ways of doing it with babies in my experience.

We used the self-laundry facilities at the Hotel Cheyenne in July of this year.
You can get tokens for the washing machines, dryers and soap powder from reception.
On one occassion reception told us a party had purchased 10 tokens and when we saw the pile of laundry we decided to come back another day.

Next time it was quiet. We put on the washing and then went for a wander. Then put on the dryer and did the same.

There are 2 washing machines and 2 dryer machines :)
