We are doing the 7 night land/sea I already have the Disney transfers. I am thinking of flying in the night before and staying at the Airport hotel. Ok, heres my first question What is the name of the hotel? And next how will this work with Disney transfers? Would we just go back over to airport with luggage to meet the buses in the morning?
Thanks

There are a lot of hotels around the airport. The on in it is the Hyatt. It's actually connected to the terminal. We stay there the night before we cruise because we fly in from the west coast. They have a check-in for the DCL buses in the lobby of the Hyatt on the morning of the cruise. You do have to claim your luggage. Since we bought air through the cruise line, the night at the hotel and transfers were included. They had us leave our luggage outside the hotel room door on Saturday morning, and it was collected from there and transported to the ship.

This is for the 7-night cruise, but I suspect for a land/sea package it would be similar. In any case, it was spelled out pretty clearly for us in our cruise docs.

We originally started staying on Disney property and taking the transfers from Disney. Then we figured staying at the Radisson was only $59 and renting a car was only $37 with all these discount codes. so for under a hundred bucks I have a family of 4 staying pre night at the Radisson with nothing to do in the morning but return the Avis car and going to Port about 5 minutes away.

So slowly I cancelled all my original ressies. I would check out renting a car and staying at the Radisson. and doing Disney transportation back to airport after the cruise.

Good Luck

We arrive the Thursday before at 11pm and are staying at the Airport Hyatt 2 nights. We got a rate of 83.00 per night. We also got the transfers.

It was a special internet rate of their web site. I had originally had a rate of 129.00/night (AAArate) You book through their web site but they charge your card right away.
