Hi - I am making rolodex sets ( I don't know what to call them!) for Christmas presents for teachers and some relatives. I've never done them before but I have started and am happy with what I've done so far.

Problem is, no one really gets it when I show it to them - My intention is to have it as a mini photo album for desk or table (4x4 cards) so I thought I could put a little poem on the cover to 'splain that. But I stink at poems - does anyone have any good ideas?

Anyone have good ideas where to get rolodex bases cheap too?

Thanks!

try Walmart or the dollar store.

Hmmmm, poems.....

here is one for teachers, then have a pic of the kids in the class already??

One Hundred Years from now
It will not matter
what kind of car I drove,
What kind of house I lived in,
how much money was in my bank account
nor what my clothes looked like.
But the world may be a better place because
I was important in the life of a child.

family one:

this is sooo cheeky, and work in my family but I have no idea if it would work for you, I would change diseases to colds or something though:

The family. We were a strange little band of characters trudging through life sharing diseases and toothpaste, coveting one another's desserts, hiding shampoo, borrowing money, locking each other out of our rooms, inflicting pain and kissing to heal it in the same instant, loving, laughing, defending, and trying to figure out the common thread that bound us all together. ~Erma Bombeck
