Does Disney Paris have weekend entertainment like the other Disney Parks? I just found out (As I am new to DP) that the fireworks dont start until July, but do they have other shows to take in on the weekends like Fantasmic at WDW and DL in California?

There is not a similar show in Disneyland Paris.
During the summer (July & August) park hours are extended from the normal closing time to 11pm. This is when the fireworks, fantallusion, candlebration etc are normally on.
If you have a look www.dlrpmagic.com they are normally good at updating the schedule of shows and parades :)

Disneyland Paris is an awesomely beautiful park with wonderful versions of the attractions you know and love, but that is where the simularities stop. Until this summer, we have had very little live entertainment and no real specticals, fireworks are much smaller due to local laws, and run 8-10 weeks a year. However, we do have a parade as good as the 50th (I think I like DLP's a little better), and several shows on the same level as Aladdin at DCA. Most of the time in the off season, the park closes at 6 or 7pm, sometimes 8, and the weekend has been known to be open til 10.
But during peaks season for summer we have main parade, fantallusion parade (a little like DEP at DCA meets Fantasmic on a much less grand scale), Canderellabration, Fireworks - and 5 live music groups (but no ragtime piano player or barbershop quartet :-(
