We made some really cute Mummy pizzas for Halloween last year

Take an English muffin or bagel
Spread with sauce
Take strips off a string cheese and lay them across the pizza like a mummy bandage ( use a semi curved piece for at the head and leave space for eyes)
Use black olives for eyes ( you can even add a little green olive for added flair)
Bake in a 350* oven until cheese is melted and pizza is heated through.

These are fun, and cute and our kids ( ages 5 and 3) loved doing them. I believe it was a Pillsbury Halloween recipe.

CRUNCHY MUMMIES

Clean and dry celery. Cut into pieces 3 – 4 inches long. Cut a thin slice out of the bottom side so it will lay flat. Pipe softened cream cheese (plain or garden vegetable) down the length of each piece of celery, creating a mummy body about inch wide. Cut deli sliced cooked ham into lengths inch wide. Cut lengths crosswise into 1 inch pieces. Criss-cross these over the cream cheese bodies to create the bandages. Tuck edges of ham pieces down into the cheese along the celery edges. Cut eyes out of dried cranberries and tuck between bandages

Last year I made ice hands for my punch bowl. I simply filled a bunch of non latex non powdered gloves with spring water and froze them. Then i stuck them in warm water to loosen the glove and cut them free. I slid them into my punch bowl filled with apple cider. :)

I made little sandwiches in the shape of pumpkins and i even went so far as to make the bread orange. ( i have a bread maker so it wasn't that big a deal, just added a little food coloring. )

We had regular food at the party.. the only thing that i really did as far as halloween food was the desserts.

I made pumpkin cookies and bat brownies. I had little tiny pumpkin pies in foil cupcake liners. (so easy to make.. i used a nilla wafer for the crust and added my already mixed libby's pie filling. and decorated them on top like jackolanterns using a little stencil and cinnamon. Lastly rice krispie treats in the shape of leaves, in all different fall colors. ( warning.. these were a little messy lol)

As far as activities, we didn't do much. We have our party the night of the halloween parade. We had a pumpkin hunt in the yard. I used the mini pumpkins for that and then I did let the kids decorate them afterwards, but that was about it.

Since my party is more focused around the parade, I am more focused on decorating and food. :) lol have fun and good luck

and either tie time to something so they are mounted, or just have an adult hold the string. Have them eat it without using their hands.

Find plastic gloves (food service) that are just like baggies.. no powder inside. Stuff the ends of the fingers with a piece of candy corn, and then fill it with popcorn. It makes an adorable "scary hand"

Make dirt cups with worms

lollipop ghosts
