Developer Points that came with AKV

Having bought some extra DVC points this year from our guide whilst at WDW last month, we were happy with the deal of the 100 developer points and the $500 card.

We were told where the points could be used and seeing as SS is where our other points are we knew we would use them there. What we were not told was that they can only be used 7 months before not 11 which has put a spanner in the works. Anyone else know this.

Yes developer points always have the 7 month booking window condition and as at SSR then it should be no issue in getting what you want as long as it is not say Christmas or Easter for example.

Since spoken to them and they reckon we will be able to swap out our exisiting points that we have booked with for the 100 developer points at the 7 month window, which is fair enough.
