I called back in Feb and booked my room and requested a refrigerator and they told me there was no charge. Today I called to confirm my reservation and they told me it is $10 a day. OK fine. Then one person told me the "medically necessary" get first choice and then if they have any more then I will get one. Why is it so hard to get a refrigerator? And was there always a charge or was I misinformed?

I also made our reservations for the GF back in Feb., for our trip May 11th-18th. Our confirmation paper says "complimentary refrigerator guaranteed". I am going to bring this paper with us just in case they try to charge us for the fridge. My DH drinks half a gallon of milk a day, and trying to find milk at 10PM when we are on vacation is not fun. That is why we need the fridge!

I have never had to pay anything for a fridge, at the Poly or the GF. Don't tell them ahead of time when you book your room. When the Bell Hop brings your bags to your room, ask for a fridge and you will have one within five minutes. Ask him if there is a charge and he will say no. Be sure to tip him well, he just saved you $$. I usually tip $20.
Hope this works for you, it has for us.
